The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Army Sergeant Quornelius Radford, is in custody. According to sources cited by NBC News, Radford is an active-duty soldier. The motive behind the shooting has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Following the arrest, an "all clear" was issued, and Fort Stewart officials are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack. Authorities have not indicated whether additional security measures will be implemented in the aftermath.
