Sean McComb will go down the IBF route for a World title if he can claim European success in September
Sean McComb's journey to getting another world title shot has been escalated greatly by the announcement that he will be fighting for the super-lightweight European title on September 27.
The Belfast boxer narrowly lost a controversial split decision to Arnold Barboza Jnr in 2024 in a world title eliminator fight and, for reasons unbeknownst to McComb, the WBO removed him from the world rankings entirely afterwards.
