Samsung Galaxy S25 FE leak just tipped bad news about performance
With the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, Samsung is rumored to be turning its attention to its next big release, assumed to be the Galaxy S25 FE. However, a new leak has revealed some potentially troubling news for the device. According to a recent post on X by known leaker Arsène Lupin, the Galaxy S25 FE could come with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 26GB of internal storage. The post also states that the phone should have four color options: Navy, IceBlue, Jetblack and White. S25 FE8 + 128 / 8 + 256 Navy, Icyblue, Jetblack, WhiteJuly 24, 2025 I can understand why Samsung would elect to keep the 8GB of RAM we saw in the Galaxy S24 FE, after all, the FE range is designed to be more affordable and RAM can be expensive to increase. On top of the price, it's also worth noting that 8GB of RAM is more than enough for the average user. For instance, it's the same amount as we see in the iPhone 16 series after all. While this likely isn't an issue for the phone when it releases, it might be for the future of the phone and its usability. Currently, the average user keeps hold of their smartphone for 2 years and seven months, and that's expected to go up to three years by 2026. With that in mind, and considering the rapid advancement in AI, I have to wonder if 8GB will be enough down the line. More RAM means a higher price for parts, and Samsung clearly wants to keep the FE cheaper than other flagship-grade phones. But it should be noted that the Galaxy S24 FE launched with many of the same AI features that we saw on the mainline Galaxy S24 models while still being affordable. The same would, hopefully, be true for the Galaxy S25 FE, but the lack of RAM is only a single nail in the performance coffin. Another thing to note about the Galaxy FE range is that it often makes use of less powerful chips. The Galaxy S24 FE, for instance, launched with the Exynos 2400e, which wasn't exactly stellar. Meanwhile, the most recent leaked benchmarks have the Galaxy S25 FE running the Exynos 2400, which is a modest upgrade, but still falls behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite seen in Samsung's Galaxy S25 series. Why is this a problem, I hear you ask? The reality is that Samsung's latest FE phone will need to compete with the iPhone 16e, and in more than a few ways, it needs to exceed it. As it stands, Samsung phones tend to offer a better AI experience, helped, in part, by Apple Intelligence's limitations and Samsung devices featuring more RAM. However, if the Galaxy S25 FE launches with the same RAM and a weaker chip, I worry about how it will compete when it doesn't have access to all the Galaxy AI features due to its hardware limitations. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Now, in the interest of fairness, not every person buying a Samsung FE phone is invested in AI features. In that case, the real issue becomes the price of the phone and how it compares to the mainline Galaxy S25. As it stands, we don't know a lot about the price of the phone, but we'd expect it to be roughly around the same price as the Galaxy S24 FE, due to the Galaxy S25 not seeing a price increase, would would mean a price of around $649. It's also worth noting that we can't confirm these rumors until we actually see the phone officially announced, so it's best to take these things with a pinch of salt. On that note, many of the rumors seem to indicate that Samsung will aim for an October launch for the phone. So, with the possibility of the Galaxy S25 FE only featuring 8GB of RAM, are you still interested, or will you look elsewhere for a more affordable phone? Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 5G colour and storage variant tipped ahead of launch
Samsung is expected to launch its new 'Fan Edition' smartphone, the Galaxy S25 FE, in the coming months. The smartphone has been in the news for quite a few weeks now, as leaks and rumours about the smartphone have started to spread over the internet. Now, in a new leak, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 5G colour variants and storage options were leaked, giving hints at what the South Korean giant may reveal. Alongside this, it was revealed some specs which are unlikely to get an upgrade. Therefore, the FE model is expected to get some minor upgrades over its predecessor, but let's have a look at what the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE model will offer. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 5G tipped to be powered by the Exynos 2400e processor, same as last year.(Reuters) Also read: Samsung Galaxy S25 FE to launch in September: Full specs and features leaked online Samsung Galaxy S25 FE colour and storage options' The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is expected to come in four colour options: Navy, Icyblue, Jetblack, and White, as per tipster Arsène Lupin. Alongside these colour options, Samsung could bring only two options for its new Fan Edition model, with 8GB +128GB and 8GB+256GB. With Galaxy S25 FE, we may not get the 12GB RAM and a higher storage option, considering it will launch as an affordable flagship. In terms of specifications and features, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is likely to be powered by the Exynos 2400e processor, the same as its predecessor. However, the smartphone may get an upgraded battery from 4700 to 4900mAh with faster 45W charging. Therefore, we may not expect a major performance boost, but users can expect improved battery life. Also read: Samsung Galaxy S25 FE to debut with flexible OLED display and sleeker design: Report In terms of design and display, the Galaxy S25 FE is tipped to get a slimmer build that may measure about 7.4mm. It may feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate, likely similar to last year, with the same resolutions and display features. For photography, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The feature is also expected to remain the same; however, the selfie camera is expected to get a 12MP camera, an upgrade from a 10MP camera. Therefore, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is expected to get very upgrades over the predecessor. However, we must wait for the official launch to confirm what Samsung could announce with the Galaxy S25 FE model.

Fresh Galaxy S25 FE leak details storage variants and color options ahead of fall announcement
By no means Samsung's most exciting 2025 product, the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition has been making headlines for several months now, seemingly preparing quite a few important upgrades over its fall 2024-released predecessor. Of course, not everything about the inexpensive Galaxy S24 FE powerhouse will be changed this fall, and the latest rumor on X claims to reveal a couple of the key specifications unlikely to get an upgrade along with a very interesting (and largely reimagined) color palette. Navy; Icyblue; Jetblack; White. Because Samsung is not Motorola, there are no spectacularly eye-catching or groundbreaking new hues on the above list. But as familiar as those four colorways are likely to sound to many of the company's hardcore fans, it's definitely worth pointing out how different they actually are to the S24 FE's paint jobs. This terribly blurry picture is our first look at the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE in one of its expected color options. | Image Credit -- Evan Blass on X Last year's Galaxy S24 Fan Edition is available in blue, graphite, gray, mint, and yellow, so Samsung is basically looking to change all those options this year, which is both good and bad in my book. While I'm certainly excited to check out the S25 FE in the "vanilla" S25's Icyblue shade, not to mention a Galaxy S25 Ultra-style Jetblack colorway (sans the titanium build, of course), I can't say I'm too pleased with the prospect of Samsung killing off the sleek mint and yellow options. Then again, that list leaked by the generally reliable Arsène Lupin, aka @MysteryLupin, on X may not be comprehensive, so let's not abandon all hope of seeing the Galaxy S25 FE released in flashier hues as well. To date, the handset has been pictured in a white color, mind you, so that's probably the only version completely etched in stone for the time being. 128GB storage + 8GB RAM; 256GB storage + 8GB RAM. Now that's a completely unsurprising (and largely underwhelming) "list", which predictably starts at 128 gigs of local digital hoarding room and disappointingly lacks both a 512GB storage variant and 12GB memory option. Clearly, Samsung is primarily focused on keeping the S25 FE's price point as low as possible, although it's probably not very realistic to hope that the new phone will be cheaper than its predecessor. Instead, I expect the S24 FE's $650 starting price to go unchanged, making Samsung's 2025 Fan Edition handset significantly costlier than Google's Pixel 9a, for instance, but also most likely cheaper than the "vanilla" Pixel 10. The S25 FE could be just as affordable (or as expensive) as the S24 FE. | Image Credit -- PhoneArena Despite rocking a slimmer waist and an overall more elegant design, the S25 Fan Edition is impressively also tipped to bump up its predecessor's battery capacity from 4,700 to 4,900mAh. Unfortunately, no major improvements for the 50 + 8 + 12MP triple rear-facing camera system have been reported so far, and the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is virtually guaranteed to stay unchanged in terms of size and resolution as well. All in all, Samsung is certainly not looking to revolutionize affordable Android high-enders here, nonetheless aiming to make you an offer you can't refuse in September or October... if you can't afford or don't like the compact Galaxy S25 for whatever reason.

Google Pixel Buds 2a leak tells us new color options — and a surprise option for the Pro 2
As rumors swirl around a potential mid-year launch for new Pixel 10 phones, we get a small glimpse into the future of the Pixel buds lineup. It's been a good 4 years or so since we saw a pair of a series buds come from Google, although it looks like the wait for budget buds is soon coming to an end. It's an early leak and one that's pretty barebones, but X user Arsène Lupin has given us an idea of what colors to expect the so-called "Pixel Buds 2a" to come in. Google Pixel Buds 2aHazel, Strawberry, Iris, Fog LightJuly 3, 2025 So there's not much to go on here — no technical details, no images and no launch date. Just a list of colors. Apparently, we'll be getting the Google Pixel Buds 2a in "Hazel, Strawberry, Iris, Fog Light." Those are completely different from the current lineup of colors of the Pixel Buds A-Series — Sea, Dark Olive, Clearly White and Charcoal — although Hazel is shared by the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. It's a dark brown, if you're wondering. What will the other colors look like? Iris and Fog Light sound pretty nebulous, but Strawberry is almost certainly going to be some kind of pink or red. As for the price or release date? No clue. Lupin tends to leak stuff closer to release, mind you, so it's likely we're looking at something coming fairly soon. There was another leak as well — for another color. According to the same leaker in another X post, we're going to see the Pixel Buds Pro 2 come out in a color called "Sterling." That sounds like a silver to me, although I'm colorblind so I could be completely off base. Either way, we're looking at some potential new earbuds and a new color for an older pair. I'm excited to see where the Pixel Buds 2a land on our list of best earbuds, once we've got them in for testing. Google Pixel Buds A-Series might finally be getting a follow-up
Lil Katz / Android Authority TL;DR Google's got a big launch coming up this summer, with the Pixel 10 series set to debut. A new rumor suggests the company's also working on new 'Pixel Buds 2a' affordable earbuds. We could also get a new color option for the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Can you believe it's been four whole years now since Google introduced its affordably priced Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds? In the years since we've got not just one, but two generations of Pixel Buds Pro models, but without any new motion on the A-Series side of the fence. Now in 2025, with the Pixel 10 family getting ready to make its debut, is it finally time we see Google do something about that? A new rumor sure claims as much, with leaker Arsène Lupin returning to X to follow up their report on Pixel 10 color options with some tantalizing suggestions about what Google's planning for its audio accessories. By the sound of this, Google could be planning to have the Pixel 10 family share the stage with a new 'Pixel Buds 2a' that would be available in your choice of Hazel, Strawberry, Iris, and Fog Light. We're nor sure if that Buds 2a branding is supposed to be descriptive or how the earbuds would actually arrive, but it does represent a minor departure from the A-Series we have now. At least we can appreciate that the color options listed here sound a bit more vibrant than the neutral tones in which the A-Series is currently available. Speaking of colors, Lupin drops another minor detail, claiming that we're also getting a new option for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, with the four existing shades being joined by a new Sterling colorway. We've heard Sterling Gray mentioned as a possible Pixel 10 color before (although Lupin's recent report does not include it) but now we're curious if this could be just another matte option, or if it might represent some kind of new metallic finish. Although these earbud rumors land amidst a flurry of claims about Pixel 10 phones and their accessories, there's technically nothing here that asserts we'll see them all arrive together, so we assume it's possible that Google may hold back their introduction until some point later in the year. At least, it feels a little odd we haven't heard more about them if they're really launching in just another few weeks, but that's still plenty of time for more Buds 2a leaks to arrive. Got a tip?
