DIFC Art Nights Returns – Call for Artist Entries Closing Soon
DIFC Art Nights is soon to return and ignite the city's cultural scene. Artists are encouraged to participate and showcase their works through the open call for artists, which is closing on 26 March 2025. A key event in Dubai's art and culture calendar, DIFC Art Nights celebrates the city's creativity through a showcase of extraordinary art works across a range of mediums. The event reflects Dubai's diversity, welcoming both emerging and established and emerging artists from around the world. To participate, artists must submit a curated portfolio of their best works, including high-quality images and a brief description of each piece. Acceptable mediums include visual arts, painting, sculpture, photography, design, murals and mixed media. Musicians are also encouraged to apply, along with artists interested in hosting workshops or joining panel discussions. Taking place from 10 to 13 April 2025, the 19th edition of the biannual Art Nights will showcase the creativity and talent of local and international artists at the city's vibrant financial and cultural hub. Artists need to submit their portfolio by the deadline of 26 March 2025 to [email protected] . All submissions must comply with DIFC's guidelines, which can be downloaded here . DIFC's Art Committee will review all entries and select the most exceptional works for display at DIFC Art Nights in April.

Kentuck Art Center hosting March ‘Art Night'
NORTHPORT, Ala. (WIAT) — Kentuck Art Center is hosting its monthly Art Night on Thursday from 5- 8 p.m. Kentuck describes Art Night as a free event that aims to celebrate art and artists. The event includes exhibition openings, open artists' studios, live music in the courtyard, extended Gallery Shop hours and pop-up shops from local vendors. The gallery featured at this month's Art Night are 'From the Earth: Basketry' by Sarah Bell, Robert Haygens, Will Holley, Andrew McCall, Jill Miller and Mickey Miller. Artist talks will begin at 6:30 p.m. An artist demonstration will be held by Robert Haygens and Will Holley. Best time to plant, garden in central Alabama For $20, guests can participate in a drop-in clay activity that includes two pounds of clay and a selection of glazes. Art Night will feature live music by Ramblin Ricky Tate. It will also feature cob oven pizza and pop-up shops from local vendors, including the Girl Scouts, Local Clay Works, Dawg House Laser Studios, Fer Farm Handcrafted and Crafts by Clara.
