Restrictions for 15 Newcastle streets in free parking crackdown

A crackdown on commuters and shoppers looking for free parking outside a city centre is set to come into force this order will impose new parking restrictions on 15 streets in Newcastle's West City Council transport chiefs said people who lived in the Arthur's Hill area deserved a "fair chance" of parking near their own plans, which were first announced in February, will introduce a parking permit scheme on roads either side of Stanhope Street.
