SRF shares fall 3% despite strong Q4 results; check key numbers here
SRF share price today: Shares of chemicals manufacturer SRF fell over 3 per cent to hit a low of ₹2,920 on Tuesday despite the company reporting better-than-expected fourth quarter (Q4 FY25) results. At 10 AM, the SRF stock was trading at ₹2,940, down 2.47 per cent from the previous day's close of ₹3,014.5 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). In comparison, the benchmark Nifty50 index was trading at 24,780.75, down 143.95 points or 0.58 per cent. The stock touched a 52-week high of ₹3,098.5 on May 12, 2025. The company's total market capitalisation stood at ₹86,630.16 crore. Catch Stock Market Updates Today LIVE SRF's Q4 FY25 result update The chemical company's consolidated revenue increased 21 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to ₹4,313 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to ₹3,570 crore in the year-ago period. The company's Earnings before interest and tax (Ebit) increased 47 per cent to ₹906 crore in Q4 FY25 from ₹616 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Profit after tax (PAT) came in at ₹526 crore. Segment-wise, the company's revenue from the chemicals business grew 30 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹2,355 crore in the reported quarter, performance films & foil business revenue increased 19 per cent, while revenue from the technical textiles business fell 2 per cent. Revenue from other businesses decreased 18 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹87 crore in Q4 FY25. In FY25, SRF's revenue increased 12 per cent to ₹14,693 crore compared to ₹13,139 crore in the previous financial year. The company reported Ebit of ₹2,336 crore, up 6 per cent from ₹2,201 crore in FY24. The company reported a PAT of ₹1,251 crore in FY25. "However, we are dealing with a very volatile global economy at the moment, and while we remain cautiously optimistic about the year ahead, the risks remain,' he added. SRF Q4 net profit rises 24% to ₹526 crore on strong chemical sales
Chemical conglomerate SRF Limited has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹526 crore in the fourth quarter of financial year 2024–25. This marks a 24 per cent increase from last year's Q4 PAT of ₹422 crore. The company posted ₹4,313 crore revenue from operations in the fourth quarter of FY25, an increase of 20.83 per cent from the previous year's Q4 revenue of ₹3,569.74 crore. Chairman and Managing Director, Ashish Bharat Ram, said, 'We have finished the year on a very strong note, supported by seasonal factors. That aside, we will go into the new financial year carrying this momentum. However, we are dealing with a very volatile global economy at the moment and while we remain cautiously optimistic about the year ahead, the risks remain.' In Q4FY25, the company's earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose by 47 per cent, from ₹616 crore in Q4FY24 to ₹906 crore. Profit before tax (PBT) climbed 60 per cent year-on-year, increasing from ₹443 crore to ₹707 crore. 'During the (fourth) quarter (of FY25), the demand for Polyester Tyre Cord Fabric and Polyester Industrial Yarn remained robust, while volumes of Nylon Tyre Cord Fabric were flat. The performance of Belting Fabrics was affected by the influx of low-cost imports from China, which had an impact on the overall performance of the Business,' the company said in an exchange filing. Robust domestic demand for refrigerants—especially for room air conditioners—drove record-high sales in the Fluorochemicals business in Q4FY25. In the performance films and foil business, segment revenue advanced by 19 per cent year-on-year, from ₹1,182 crore to ₹1,412 crore. Operating profit surged 216 per cent, from ₹33 crore to ₹105 crore. The business also achieved its highest-ever packed production, commercialised new value-added products, and increased sales of high-impact variants, all of which bolstered profitability. The technical textiles business experienced a slight contraction, with segment revenue down 2 per cent—from ₹469 crore in Q4FY24 to ₹458 crore in Q4FY25. Its operating profit declined 43 per cent, from ₹70 crore to ₹40 crore, on a year-on-year basis. SRF Q4 Results: Net Profit Jumps 24.59% To Rs 526 Crore, Income Rises 20.2%
Agency: PTI Last Updated: SRF Ltd's total income increases 20.23 per cent to Rs 4,215.17 crore during the January-March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal as compared to Rs 3,505.92 crore year ago. SRF Ltd, a chemical sector-focused multi-business entity, on Monday posted a 24.59 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 526.06 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal on strong sales. Net profit stood at Rs 422.21 crore in a year-ago quarter, according to a regulatory filing. Total income rose 20.23 per cent to Rs 4,215.17 crore in January-March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal as compared to Rs 3,505.92 crore in a year-ago. For the full 2024-25 fiscal, the company however reported a 6.35 per cent drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,240.78 crore from Rs 1,335.71 crore in the preceding year.
