Largest Middle Eastern fragrance company to open first Minnesota store
In addition to the return of Macarons by Maddie Lu and the upcoming arrival of Miniso, the Mall of America has revealed another new shop is ready to open its doors. Arabian Oud, the largest Middle Eastern fragrance company in the world, has announced that it will soon open its first Minnesota storefront at the Bloomington megamall The company, founded in 1982, has built an empire of more than 1,200 stores in 37 countries on its perfumes, oils, and incenses, many of which center around the resin oud. 'Welcoming Arabian Oud to Mall of America brings a world-renowned fragrance house with deep cultural heritage and global acclaim to our mix of luxury and experiential retailers,' said Ashley Hofmann, Director of Leasing at Mall of America. The Minnesota outpost will house more than 400 different products and reside on Level 2, West at the Bloomington shopping center.

China-based lifestyle brand Miniso is heading to the Mall of America
Trendy lifestyle brand Miniso is expanding its footprint in Minnesota, again. The China-based brand first expanded to the United States in 2017 and made its entry into Minnesota in November. Now, in addition to hubs in St. Cloud and Eden Prairie, its rapid in-state expansion will head to the Mall of America. The Bloomington shopping center announced the soon-to-come shop on Wednesday. Miniso is known for viral, limited-edition collaborations with brands like Disney, Pokémon, and Care Bears. Those collabs are seen across its toys, collectibles, beauty products, home goods, and more. That includes Miniso's popular blind box collectibles. 'Miniso's arrival at Mall of America reflects our ongoing commitment to introducing fresh, globally recognized brands to our retail lineup,' Ashley Hofmann, Leasing Director at Mall of America, said in a statement. When it opens in the near future, Miniso will be located at Level 2 East. Miniso is one of two major Asia-based retailers making a concerted effort to expand in Minnesota. This past weekend saw the opening of the second location for Japan-based bargain store Daiso, which launched in Maplewood.
