Chilling video shows high-speed bike crash that killed Indian MBBS student in Vietnam
A shocking CCTV footage has surfaced showing the moment a speeding motorcycle, driven by a 21-year-old Indian student in Vietnam, crashed into a wall, resulting in his death. Arshid Ashrith, a third-year MBBS student from Telangana, was riding at high speed when he lost control and collided with a wall, along with his friend who was riding pillion. The freak accident occurred in Can Tho city and was captured by a surveillance camera. The footage shows slow-moving traffic in a quiet neighbourhood when, suddenly, a loud, fast-moving motorcycle suddenly zooms into frame from the opposite direction. To avoid colliding with another biker, Ashrith swerved to the left, causing the bike to mount the footpath before slamming into the wall of a nearby house. The impact was violent, the bike flipped twice in the air before landing several feet away as a mangled heap. Both riders were flung off on impact. While Ashrith died in the crash, his friend sustained serious injuries. Arshid Ashrith's parents are from Telangana's Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district and work as cloth merchants. The news of their son's death has left the family heartbroken. According to NDTV, MLA Dr P Harish Babu visited Ashrith's residence to offer condolences to the grieving family. During the visit, he also spoke with Union Minister G Kishan Reddy over the phone and urged him to assist in expediting the repatriation of Ashrith's body to India. Last month, two Indian students studying at Cleveland State University were killed in a car accident in Pennsylvania. 20-year-old Manav Patel and 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar's car crashed into a tree and struck a bridge on May 10. In April, a 21-year-old Indian student named Harsimrat Kaur Randhawa was killed after she was struck by a stray bullet in Canada while she was waiting at a bus stop on her way to work.

Telangana student dies after crashing his bike into a wall in Vietnam
Hyderabad: A 21-year-old student from Telangana who was pursuing MBBS in Vietnam died in a road accident when the two-wheeler he was riding rammed into a wall. Both students were studying medicine at the Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. They were staying on Nguyen Van Cu Street in An Khanh Ward. Identified as Arsid Ashrith, the deceased hailed from Kagaznagar in Komarambheem Asifabad district. His father is a cloth merchant. A CCTV footage of the incident shows the two-wheeler speeding before mounting a pavement and ramming into the compound wall of a house. The video also shows another two-wheeler, coming from the opposite side, narrowly escaping a head-on collision with Ashrith's bike. "Right from his childhood, he always wanted to become a doctor. That is why we sent him there to pursue his dream," Ashrith's father, Arsid Arjun, told TOI on Thursday. Arjun's brother-in-law and father-in-law are also doctors. "We wanted to see our son also as a doctor, but were shocked on being informed that he died in a road accident," said Arjun. The family got to know about Ashrith's death from his friend after the mishap took place at 5.45 am on June 4. While Ashrith was planning to visit home on July 17, his parents also wanted to visit Vietnam and had applied for their passports on June 3. They planned to return with their son. The medical student, who completed two years of study, would have finished his medical studies in another four years. The family has urged the Indian embassy in Hanoi to help send the mortal remains of Ashrith to India.

The deceased, identified as 21-year-old Arshid Ashrith, was a third-year MBBS student. The incident took place on Wednesday when Arshid was speeding on a bike along with a friend. He lost control and the two-wheeler crashed straight into a wall. His friend has suffered critical injuries. The accident was caught on CCTV camera. The footage showed a calm neighbourhood, then a speeding two wheeler crashes into the wall. The impact of the crash was such that the two riders flung into the air. Ashrith orginally hailed from Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district in Telangana. His parents Arshid Arjun and Pratima are cloth merchants. According to media reports, MLA Dr P Harish Babu visited Ashrith's residence in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad and expressed condolences to his heartbroken parents. Harish also spoke to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy over the phone, urging him to facilitate the repatriation of Ashrith's body to India. On Monday, a businessman was killed and two people were critically injured in a road accident in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur. The driver of an Innova opened the door of the vehicle moving at 100 kilometres per hour to spit gutka, causing the vehicle to flip over and crash, the Times of India reported. The accident took place on the Bilaspur-Raipur highway on Monday. The Innova overturned multiple times on the road, hitting two vehicles and also injuring one of its drivers. According to the ToI report citing police, the deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Jackie Gehi, a cloth merchant from Chakarbhatha on the outskirts of Bilaspur. His friend Akash Chandani was driving the vehicle. He suddenly opened the door while driving to spit gutkha. Instantly, he lost control of the car, which swerved into the divider and overturned multiple times. The force of the impact was so high that it threw all three passengers out of the vehicle, which went somersaulting down the highway.
