Cohesity launches Aspire Partner Programme to boost data security
Cohesity has introduced its Aspire Partner Programme, a new global framework designed to support partners in delivering data security solutions amid growing complexity in the technology landscape.
The Aspire Partner Programme offers a flexible and scalable structure, aiming to simplify how partners with varied business models and market strategies can collaborate with Cohesity. This includes partners involved in reselling, managed service provision (MSPs), and participation via cloud marketplaces.
The initiative aligns with broader industry trends, such as the shift to subscription-based payment models, the increasing demand for cyber resilience, and the need for integrated data management across hybrid IT environments.
Supporting partners
According to the company, the Aspire programme seeks to enhance profitability for partners and provides access to a unified portal which acts as a central resource for enablement tools, training, and certifications. The programme encompasses all partner types, including resell, manage, integrate, distribute, OEM hardware, embedded OEM, technology partners, and cloud marketplace participants.
Within the Aspire Partner Programme, participants can achieve Premier, Preferred, or Associate tier levels, each designed to offer corresponding benefits. The programme also includes an authorised distributor component to support resellers further. "Organisations across Australia and New Zealand - from mid-sized enterprises to large government and commercial sectors - are rapidly modernising their IT environments while facing a sharp rise in cyber threats. Our partner ecosystem plays a vital role in helping customers enhance their cyber resilience, and our new Aspire Partner Program reflects Cohesity's strong and growing commitment to our partners across ANZ and the wider region. Aspire delivers the tools, flexibility, and future-ready framework partners need to grow, respond to evolving customer demands, and harness technologies like AI - all while delivering trusted, secure solutions our customers can rely on," said Peter Hanna, VP Channel and Alliances APJ, Cohesity.
Programme features
The company states that the Aspire programme focuses on three main areas to bolster partner success. First, on profitable growth, it offers competitive margins and provides rewards for partner-sourced deals alongside performance-based incentives throughout the sales cycle. This support includes jointly executed go-to-market activities, co-selling, co-branding, pipeline sharing, and access to marketing resources.
For technical strength, Aspire facilitates role-based training opportunities with access to Cohesity Accreditations and multiple certifications. These are designed to enable technical staff to demonstrate proficiency in Cohesity's data management technologies. In addition, a designated Cohesity Aces programme recognises top technical achievers among partners, inviting them to join dedicated innovation activities and giving them privileged access to new solutions and virtual labs.
Regarding differentiation, Aspire aims to create new revenue streams for partners. These include routes such as delivering Cohesity services, obtaining authorised training certifications, or introducing new offerings to the market in conjunction with Cohesity as either a Professional-level or Elite-level Technology Partner.
Partner perspectives
Graham Lowbridge, National Sales Manager at Accucom, commented on the refreshed programme: "We're excited to see Cohesity's continued investment in its partner ecosystem. The upcoming enhancements to the Partner Program signal a strong commitment to deeper collaboration and shared growth. We're looking forward to what's ahead and the opportunities this will unlock for both our team,"
Mike Heintzelman, Senior Vice President for Advanced Solutions Vendor Management at TD SYNNEX, remarked: "The Cohesity Aspire Partner Program is purpose-built to provide a clear path for partners to engage with Cohesity's full range of solutions. We see it as a key accelerator for all partners, especially those that are shifting to subscription-based offerings or looking to expand their services. Serving as a critical global distributor for Cohesity, we've made focused investments closely aligned with the program and are ready to ensure partners can take solutions to market as quickly as possible."
Cohesity reports that over 13,600 enterprise customers, including upwards of 85 Fortune 100 companies and nearly 70% of the Global 500, rely on its solutions for securing and protecting data on-premises, in the cloud, and at the edge. The Aspire Partner Programme is framed as a step towards addressing growing security concerns and supporting partner-driven delivery of data resilience solutions across the market.
