In collaboration with India-based health tech firm the system analyses the images and instantly generates a personalised dental health report. The AI detects potential issues such as cavities, gum disease, plaque buildup, and surface stains, encouraging early intervention and follow-up care. Following the screening, users have the option to book a consultation with a dental specialist at an Aster Clinic for further evaluation. The initiative forms part of the group's 'Smarter Smiles' campaign, which aims to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and simplify access to dental care. 'Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly vital role in enhancing healthcare outcomes across multiple medical disciplines,' said Dr. Sherbaz Bichu, CEO of Aster Hospitals and Clinics – UAE, Oman, and Bahrain.
