The Aston Martin DBX S gets a brash and athletic face. The refreshed front fascia is characteristised by a more aggressive splitter and a less pronounced rear wing diffuser Aston Martin has refreshed its DBX range yet again for both performance and refinement. Following the discontinuation of the standard DBX trim last year owing to poor demand, the more powerful DBX707 remained as the only option. The carmaker has now launched the DBX S, a new trim that further develops the 707's base with minor mechanical adjustments, new design cues, and more emphasis on light-weighting. Aston Martin DBX S: Design The Aston Martin DBX S gets a brash and athletic face. The refreshed front fascia is characteristised by a more aggressive splitter and a less pronounced rear wing diffuser. But it was truly the reimagined exhaust system, stacked vertical dual tips at each corner, that were a bold departure from convention. Also Read : Aston Martin Vanquish Volante makes global debut. Here's what makes it special Furthermore, Aston Martin's weight saving measures are also equally impressive; the optional 23-inch magnesium wheels save 18.5 kg, and the carbon roof — the largest single carbon piece ever applied to an Aston Martin — provides additional weight savings. Even the grille is new, as it takes inspiration from the DBS 770 Ultimate and removes weight at the nose to improve weight distribution. The caveat is that everything mentioned is optional and not included on the standard model. Aston Martin DBX S: Features The Aston Martin DBX S gets an improved in-house infotainment system with seamless wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and increased connected services. A 14-speaker Aston Martin Premium Audio system is standard, with an optional 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins surround system, specifically tuned for the DBX S cabin. Aston Martin DBX S: Specifications Powering the DBX S is a recalibrated version of Aston Martin's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. Borrowing turbo tech from the Valhalla supercar, output climbs to 717 bhp. While the 0–100 kmph sprint remains at a blistering 3.1 seconds, the DBX S shaves valuable tenths off its 0–200 kmph time. The company further claims a top speed of 307 kmph. Interestingly, the DBX S is not just about straight-line speed. Aston Martin retuned the SUV's nine-speed transmission for faster, crisper shifts in Sport and Sport+ modes. Steering responsiveness has also been tightened, making the DBX S feel more connected and agile. Braking is handled by massive carbon-ceramic discs — 16.5 inches up front and 15.3 inches at the rear — ensuring that the SUV's immense power is matched by equally capable stopping performance. Read the Full Story After a hiatus that lasted roughly six years, Aston Martin revived the Vanquish nameplate as a flagship model last year. It's now joined by the 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. The 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante joins Aston's lineup as a new flagship convertible. The new Vanquish Volante sources its power from the same 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 as the coupe model. Output is impressive, with the V-12 making 823 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The peak torque figure is available all the way from 2000 to 5000 rpm. The Volante's soft top, which the brand calls K-fold, can be opened in 14 seconds and closed in 16 seconds. The roof function can be operated from the key fob when you're standing near the car, or while driving up to 31 mph. The Bilstein DTX dampers are technically shared with the coupe, though they've been reworked to account for the convertible's extra weight. The automaker hasn't announced pricing, though we're expecting the new Vanquish Volante to start at around $500,000. Between the coupe and the Volante, Aston Martin wants to keep the Vanquish's yearly production figures below 1000 units. Keep scrolling for more photos of the 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Is an 824-HP V12 Convertible

The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is the convertible variant of the brand's latest Vanquish line. The Vanquish Volante packs a turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 under the hood that sends 824 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. This premium droptop can hit 214 mph and sprint to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds. Folding top fans rejoice! Aston Martin is adding another open-air brute into the mix with the latest Vanquish Volante. Just like Aston Martins of yore, and the current Vantage, Volante simply means that this is a Vanquish convertible. That's a good thing for fans of brutally quick, V12-powered Aston Martins who also want to feel the sun while cruising down the coast. As you'd expect from the convertible version of the Vanquish, this Volante's V12 still displaces 5.2 liters. Just like its fixed top counterpart, this engine sends 824 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission and to the rear wheels. This turbocharged V12 is potent enough to hustle this Vanquish Volante from a standing start to 62 mph in only 3.4 seconds. That's only a 0.1-second penalty from its fixed-top counterpart. The 214-mph top speed, however, remains the same. Managing the difference in mass with the convertible, the folks at Aston Martin did retune the Volante's suspension. It still sports the Bilstein DTX dampers, which also handle damping duties for the standard Vanquish. Aston Martin says this Volante comes with a 209-pound penalty over the fixed-top Vanquish. These two machines were developed at the same time, and the company says there aren't any structural compromises for the folding top. Aston says the Vanquish Volante is 75% more torsionally rigid than the previous flagship convertible, which was the DBS Superleggera Volante if you aren't keeping track. That folding top can squish to a surprising 260 mm (10.2 inches) when retracted. It goes down in 14 seconds but goes back up in 16 seconds. You can flip the top switch up to 31 miles per hour, if you don't want to come to a full stop, or you can use the key fob if you don't want to be bothered to be inside the cabin. Outside of the convertible top switch, the cabin is essentially the same as the Vanquish. The 10.25-inch media touchscreen is the centerpiece and is flanked to the left by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Leather covers just about every surface, and a 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system will pump your favorite podcast to anyone within shouting distance. Now, there is some bad news when it comes to the Vanquish Volante. Aston Martin says it won't increase the yearly production target of 1,000 examples. That means this Volante will cut into the fixed-roof global production volume. As for the price, well, that's still to be determined, but the folding top Vanquish will certainly outpace the coupe's $434,000 sticker price. Of course, if you can afford a Vanquish, any extra cost for the folding top is not a problem. Would you rather own a Vanquish coupe or the convertible Volante? Tell us your thoughts below.

New 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Is Its Fastest Convertible Ever

The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is the company's most potent convertible yet Aston Martin has revealed the new Vanquish Volante, a convertible version of its flagship grand tourer. The Vanquish Volante is described as the fastest and most powerful open-top series production car Aston Martin has ever made – a wording that neatly sidesteps the more potent but far scarcer Valkyrie Spider. Closely related to the hard-topped Vanquish, the new model marks 60 years of Aston Martin using Volante to describe its convertible cars. It is powered by the same twin-turbocharged, 5.2-liter V12 engine as the Vanquish coupe, producing 823 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The British sports car maker says it accelerates to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 214 mph – more than any other Volante to date. Aston Martin says annual Vanquish production, including both the coupe and convertible, is ... More restricted to below 1,000 units. Just as with the regular Vanquish, the Volante's firepower puts it on par with fellow front-engined supercars. Its closest rival, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, is also powered by a V12 motor without hybrid assistance, but is naturally aspirated instead of turbocharged. The Ferrari is slightly down on power, at 819 hp, but well down on torque, at 500 lb-ft, yet managed to sprint to the 60 mph benchmark fractionally below the three-second barrier. Its top speed is 211 mph versus 214 for the Aston Martin. The Volante uses what Aston describes as a 'K-fold' roof mechanism, which can be opened in 14 seconds or closed in 16 seconds with the press of a button – and it can do so while being driven at up to 31 mph. The roof can also be operated from the key fob, but only from a distance of two metres (about six feet) – so you can't raise the roof of your Vanquish Volante from the comfort of a cafe across the street. Strictly a two-seater, the Vanquish Volante is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 engine Despite using a fabric roof, Aston Martin says the Volante's thermal insulation is 'directly comparable' to that of the carbon-roofed Vanquish coupe. When lowered, the roof folds neatly under a tonneau behind the car's two seats. Its maker says the folded roof has a class-leading stack height of 10.24 inches, so as not to interrupt air flowing over the windshield and bodywork. Elsewhere, the Volante looks just like its coupe sibling, complete with the large front grill and elongated profile, owing to a wheelbase that is 3.15 inches longer than its predecessor. Other Vanquish trademarks include the kicked up Kamm tail at the rear, leading to a design detail Aston Martin calls the 'shield', which is available in carbon or body color. Inside, the two-seat cabin is the same as the coupe's, complete with Aston Martin's recently overhauled (and much improved) infotainment system. The all-digital, 10.25-inch driver display and equally large central touchscreen are accompanied by a set of tactile buttons and scroll wheels on the center console, and a metal switch for operating the roof. A 15-speaker sound system by British audio company Bowers & Wilkins is available as an optional extra. The two-seat cabin has a pair of 10.25-inch digital displays, plus tactile buttons and scroll ... More wheels. Another acoustic option is a titanium sports exhaust system with a smaller muffler that promises a 'clearer, louder and even more engaging V12 sound character,' and a weight saving of 23 pounds. Speaking of weight, Aston says the Volante weighs 4,145 pounds with all optional lightweight options selected, compared to 3,911 for the coupe. Pricing hasn't been announced just yet, but the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante will sit above the coupe, which starts at $432,700 before options. Aston Martin says it is limiting total annual production of the Vanquish, including both the coupe and convertible, to below 1,000 examples.
