Ozzy Osbourne Has Begun 'Heavy Training' for Final Black Sabbath Show

The post Ozzy Osbourne Has Begun 'Heavy Training' for Final Black Sabbath Show appeared first on Consequence. Ozzy Osbourne is ramping up for Black Sabbath's final show, with the singer revealing that he's begun physical training in preparation for the gig. Though Ozzy's already stated he intends to only sing 'little bits and pieces' with Sabbath, the 76-year-old metal legend also plans to perform his final solo set, making for a full day on July 5th in Birmingham. The 'Back to the Beginning' concert at Villa Park will also feature sets by Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and more. In discussion with co-host Billy Morrison on SiriusXM's 'Ozzy Speaks' program, the Prince of Darkness said that he's started 'heavy training' for what will be his first full show since 2018. 'I haven't done anything for — this will be seven years [since I played a full concert],' Ozzy said (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), 'and so I've been through all this surgery. It really is like starting from scratch.' Ozzy described his new regimen as 'endurance training.' 'The first thing to go when you're laid up is your stamina,' he said, 'so believe it or not, I'm doing two sets of three-minute walks a day and weight training. I've gotta get going, you know.' He added, 'I'm waking up in my body. I mean, three minutes to you, for instance, is nothing, but I've been laying on my back recovering from umpteen surgeries.' Editor's PickOzzy has been open about his ailing health, revealing in February that he struggles to walk, as he's been seen in a wheelchair as of late. A documentary on his health battles leading up to and including Black Sabbath's final show, is set to hit Paramount+ in the fall. Below you can hear the clip of Ozzy discussing his training for the final Sabbath gig. Netflix Reveals First Trailer for Wednesday Season 2, Confirms Two-Part Release

The post Netflix Reveals First Trailer for Wednesday Season 2, Confirms Two-Part Release appeared first on Consequence. Netflix has revealed the first trailer for Wednesday Season 2 and confirmed a two-part release schedule: the first set of episodes will premiere on August 2nd, followed by the second half on September 3rd. Originally renewed for a second season in January 2023, the new batch of Wednesday episodes will expand the series with more of a horror-vibe, striking a 'bolder, more dark' tone than the first season, according to an interview with series star Jenna Ortega. Along with Ortega, the cast for the new season is set to include Steve Buscemi, Christopher Lloyd, Thandiwe Newton, and more. Lady Gaga will also be joining the cast after Ortega once publicly mused about a hypothetical role for her in 2023. The new season will also see Tim Burton return to direct four episodes. Returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Adams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Hunter Doohan as Hyde, Emma Myers as Werewolf, Joy Sunday as Siren, Georgie Farmer as Farmer, and Moosa Mostafa as Psychic. Wednesday originally premiered in November 2022, and became a runaway success, in part due to Ortega's viral, self-choreographed goth dance. The show even broke a Netflix viewership record in its first week.
