Atalanta fan storms pitch, taunts Svilar in win over Roma
Surreal scenes unfolded last night in Bergamo during Atalanta-Roma, a decisive match in the race for the next Champions League. At the Gewiss Stadium, tension was already sky-high after Sulemana's 2-1 goal, but a Nerazzurri fan further inflamed the spirits with a gesture as absurd as it was provocative. Advertisement An Atalanta supporter climbed over the barriers and entered the field during the celebration for the goal. He didn't just run under the Curva, but headed towards the Giallorossi goalkeeper Mile Svilar, picked up a ball, mimed a penalty and 'scored', celebrating openly in the face of the Roma number 1. A provocation that made Svilar lose his mind, furious at what had just happened on the field and now also provoked by an invader. The goalkeeper reacted with a push, starting a moment of great tension that was immediately calmed by the Atalanta players and the stewards, who avoided the worst. In the stands someone laughed, but the images will remain for a long time as an example of a crazy evening.
