GAMI is organizing Saudi pavilion at Athens International Defense and Security Exhibition
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is organizing the Saudi pavilion at the Athens International Defense and Security Exhibition (DEFEA), which will take place at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center at Athens International Airport from May 6 to 8. Participating countries and international companies will showcase their latest systems in land, naval, and aerial defense, as well as in cybersecurity at the exhibition. DEFEA, sponsored by the Greek Ministry of Defense, hosts over 346 exhibitors from 28 countries, drawing more than 23,000 visitors. The Saudi pavilion features participation from the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD) and the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI). It will showcase the Kingdom's significant achievements, programs, and initiatives in the defense industry, along with the latest advanced defense technologies and systems that reflect the high level of development in the national military industries. Additionally, the pavilion highlights the policies and regulations adopted by GAMI to support both local and international investors, while promoting the promising investment environment in the Kingdom's defense sector. The Saudi pavilion showcases the key achievements, programs, and initiatives led by the Kingdom in the defense industry sector, along with the latest advanced technologies and defense systems that reflect the advanced level attained by national military industries. It also highlights the framework of policies and regulations set by GAMI to support both local and international investors, while promoting the promising investment environment in the Kingdom's defense sector.
