Teen, man arrested in connection to 2024 homicide
RCMP say they have arrested 44-year-old Rodney Nahachick and a 15-year-old boy in connection to a 2024 homicide.
A news release issued Monday said police were called to a wooded area in Atikameg First Nation near High Prairie, Alta., on Dec. 30, 2024, for a deceased man with suspicious injuries.
An autopsy identified the man to be 26-year-old Christian Mitchell, a resident of Atikameg First Nation.
The man and teen were arrested on Friday and are being charged with second-degree murder. They were remanded into custody and are to appear in court Monday.
