Atlassian Joins Forces with Google Cloud For Multi-Cloud Strategy & AI Collaboration
Atlassian has announced a new partnership with Google Cloud, a significant step in building a multi-cloud infrastructure for its customers. This collaboration will see Atlassian's core applications, including Jira, Confluence, and Loom, run not only on Amazon Web Services (AWS), but now also on Google Cloud. This strategic move enables Atlassian to further strengthen its platform and meet the demands of large and complex organizations worldwide. The multi-cloud strategy focuses on increasing resiliency, security, and scalability. Google Cloud customers will have the option to purchase Atlassian cloud applications directly through the Google Cloud Marketplace using their existing spend commitments to simplify procurement. The collaboration goes beyond infrastructure. Atlassian and Google Cloud will develop powerful product integrations, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI). Deepening this integration will lay the foundation for smarter workflows and more powerful AI-powered collaboration. Atlassian's platform, already used by over 300,000 customers, is characterized by its unique Teamwork Graph. This system connects teams, data, and workflows, enabling AI-powered collaboration and breaking down knowledge silos across organizations. With 2.3 million users already using Atlassian AI, the company is committed to further accelerating AI adoption. This is evident in the rapid delivery of new capabilities, such as AI-powered app Rovo, shipped in just six months. Major enterprises like Air France-KLM and Mercedes-Benz rely on Atlassian Cloud for their digital transformation. After upgrading to Atlassian Cloud, Nestlé is experiencing the benefits of automatic maintenance and security fixes as well as streamlined workflows in Jira and Confluence. Their teams now have 60% more time for high-value work. New engineers are onboarding 90% quicker and deploying process and configuration changes 75% faster—all while enjoying 99.95% uptime. Atlassian underscores that its investment in the partnership with Google Cloud is the next step in setting a new global standard for secure, scalable, and intelligent collaboration in the cloud. 'Cloud is a 'when,' not an 'if,'' says Atlassian, which is committed to accelerating every customer's cloud journey.

BOSTON, July 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Appfire, a leading global provider of enterprise apps connecting the world's top platforms, has announced the appointment of Catherine Solazzo as its Chief Marketing Officer. Solazzo joins Appfire's executive leadership team and will report directly to CEO Matt Dircks. Solazzo brings more than 20 years of global experience leading modern marketing functions, digital transformation and channel development at high-growth technology companies including Syntax, Tech Data/TD SYNNEX, and IBM. Her track record of building high-performing global teams, paired with the ability to scale operational impact, positions Solazzo to bring Appfire's global marketing strategy, brand expansion, go-to-market acceleration, and community engagement to the next level. "Catherine is the kind of leader we seek at Appfire — not just because she brings significant enterprise and go-to-market experience, but because she knows how to build, scale, and challenge conventional thinking," said Dircks. "She has a proven track record leading marketing teams that actually move the needle, with a sharp grasp of developer ecosystems and partner channels — which is critical for us as we evolve and grow. Equally important, Catherine is unapologetically culture-first. She develops people, coaches teams, and creates environments where talent rises and ideas get tested, not just celebrated. We're fortunate to have her on board." A unique CMO, Solazzo has held broader positions leading sales, operations, digital and channel roles. "I could not be more excited to join the Appfire team," said Solazzo. "I look forward to leveraging my experience across partner, developer and digital ecosystems to drive scale across our portfolio. The Appfire marketing function will become a key growth catalyst for the company by strengthening our go-to-market execution, engagement with our partner ecosystem and deepening our commitment to the developer community."
