Actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu or STR, is currently promoting 'Thug Life', his upcoming film with Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. During the film's promotion, Simbu revealed intriguing details about his next project, tentatively titled 'STR 50'. The actor said that he would be playing a character with feminine an interview with Behindwood, the actor said, 'Yes, there's a role with feminine elements in the film. We even discussed it with Kamal Haasan to understand how to approach it. Kamal Hassan, in the same interview, revealed, 'We wanted STR for 'Thug Life', so we sacrificed the earlier project. They can still make it, it's a beautiful story.'Reuniting with long-time collaborator Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, 'STR 50' also ropes in Manoj Paramahamsa as cinematographer and Praveen for editing.
