Police are making another appeal almost four months after an American PhD student was fatally attacked at an Auckland bus stop.
Kyle Whorrall, who was 33, was attacked in Meadowbank on 19 April at Easter and died in hospital.
Police at the time called it a senseless attack.
Two people are before the courts - a 16-year-old male charged with Whorrall's murder and a 33-year-old woman facing two charges of being an accessory after the fact.
In a statement, Detective Inspector Glenn Baldwin, of Auckland City CIB said other people were in a vehicle that night and anyone with information should come forward.
It was still an active investigation and police wanted to speak to anyone with information who could assist, he said.
"There are people in the community that know exactly who was involved, and what happened.
"They need to do the right thing and speak up."
A trial date for the two people charged so far is set for August next year.
