Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro enjoy a romantic walk on the beach in Malibu
Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro have taken their romance to the next level as they stepped out looking relaxed and casual for the beach, just months after their affair began. The couple who have sparked romance speculation since being spotted in London in February this year spent part of their Memorial Day weekend watching the waves crash into the shore on Monday. Barbaro, 34, wore a navy blue sweatshirt over a pair of straight leg jeans. Her long, brown locks were brushed straight and she appeared to be wearing little makeup behind her dark sunglasses. The Oscar nominee carried her small white dog as they strolled along the rocky shore. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It appeared Auggie may have recently gone through some sort of veterinary procedure as it wore a cone around its neck. Garfield, 41, kept it casual in a pair of green joggers and a gray and black parody T-shirt which featured a skeleton swinging a baseball bat with Los Angeles Dosers written on it. The actor, who sported a full beard and wore dark sunglasses was spotted taking a turn holding Auggie as well. Garfield and Barbaro were first photographed together at W Magazine's Best Performances party in Los Angeles in January. They were spotted together a second time after attending Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey's performance in Richard III in London in February. Barbaro will be treading the boards herself soon. She has been signed to make her stage debut at London's National Theater in a revival of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' Les Liaisons Dangereuses. She will co-star alongside BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Lesley Manville, and Poldark star Aiden Turner. 'Could not be more excited about this❤️,' the A Complete Unknown star wrote on social media when the announcement was made. Garfield recently completed work on After the Hunt with Julia Roberts and Chloë Sevigny. The thriller focuses on a college professor who must decide what to do when a star student levies an accusation against one of the professor's colleagues. The crime drama will be released in theaters in October.

Eryna Qaleesya's top pick: Wonder by RJ Palacio
Do you have something to share? Send us your letters using this form Wonder is a book about Auggie Pullman, a 10-year-old boy born with a facial deformity, struggling to navigate public school in the US. Although his family loves him for who he is, he gets bullied by his classmates. My favourite character in the book is Summer Dawson. Let me tell you why. During lunch, Auggie sat alone. Summer's friends saw Auggie and teased him. Summer didn't like that, so she went to Auggie's table and became friends with him. I loved that she always stood up for Auggie whenever he was bullied. Another thing I admire about Summer is her fearlessness, about how she's not afraid of being friends with someone who has a special condition. She was really brave for doing that. If I were Summer, I would do the same as she did. To not judge Auggie for who he is and treat him respectfully. It teaches me to do the same in real life as well. I would accept him for who he is because everyone is unique in their own way. After reading this book, it made me reflect on how we should treat others. It made me realise that accepting differences is important in maintaining relationships. In conclusion, Wonder is a fantastic book for those who would like to learn about the power of kindness, empathy and love.
