Aukus tech collaboration moves ahead without NZ
The defence technology-sharing arrangement, known as Aukus Pillar II, has moved from theoretical to real-world, but the Government has still not made a decision on if, or when, New Zealand would join in.
Last month, during the Talisman Sabre joint military exercise in Australia, the Aukus countries – Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States – carried out tests of underwater drones.
