Folsom man, mother arrested after discovery of alleged dog fight training operation
FOLSOM, La. (WGNO) — A Folsom man and his mother have been arrested in connection with a dog fight training operation investigation on Monday, May 12.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a report of possible animal abuse in the 12000 block of South Hay Hollow Road

During the investigation, STPSO deputies and animal control personnel allegedly found 28 dogs that appeared malnourished, with most showing 'signs of having been involved in dogfighting.'
Deputies allege that medication and training equipment associated with dogfighting and a gun were also found.
Following the investigation, 23-year-old Austin Alexander and his mother, 45-year-old Natia Alexander, were arrested.

Natia Alexander faces charges of principal to dogfighting and training and possession of dogs for fighting.
