Zoe Kravitz, Austin Butler spotted out together at immersive NYC show after sparking romance rumors
Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler — who've previously sparked romance rumors, and star together in the upcoming film, 'Caught Stealing' — were spotted out in NYC together last weekend. Multiple spies told Page Six that the duo was seen together at immersive theater company Punchdrunk's latest production, 'Viola's Room,' at the Shed in Hudson Yards. We hear that the pair was spotted going into the edgy show together, and also heading out into the night afterwards. They attended the show with their 'Caught Stealing' director Darren Aronofsky, a spy said. In April, the Post reported that rumors about the duo started while they were filming 'Caught Stealing' — and were seen kissing on the set as cameras rolled in October 2024, a month before filming wrapped. 'Viola's Room' is by the creators of the long-running, immersive downtown hit, 'Sleep No More,' which was known to draw lots of celebs — including Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Margot Robbie, Bono and more — as audience members wore masks as they took in the roving show. Kravitz, 36, had called off her engagement to Channing Tatum that same month after three years of dating. Butler, 33, and his former flame, model Kaia Gerber, reportedly called it quits toward the end of 2024, also after three years of dating. The stars have yet to address the buzz — though Butler's rep reportedly had previously denied there was any romance between the two. In their upcoming film, Butler stars as a former baseball player who's plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of '90s New York. The film is based on a book by Charlie Huston, who also penned the screenplay. This production, playing through Oct. 19, is more intimate and features a barefoot audience and the recorded voice of Helena Bonham Carter over headphones. How Emma Stone (Humorously) Broke Her Silence After Austin Butler Blew A Bee At Her In A Very Viral Red Carpet Moment
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. They say that seeing is believing... but we also can't always believe what we see. Case in point: a recent video that went viral from the Eddington red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival, which saw stars Emma Stone, Austin Butler and Pedro Pascal temporarily harassed by a bee. Watching the clip, one might get the impression that Butler is using his breath to blow the bee toward his co-star's face, but that is a take on the situation that Stone has amusingly and vehemently denied. With Eddington (the latest film from filmmaker Ari Aster) set to be released by A24 on July 18, Emma Stone popped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week for a sit down with guest host Diego Luna, and among the subjects discussed was the aforementioned viral video. The Andor star suggested to the actress that Austin Butler was making a specific effort to get the buzzing insect to fly into her face by blowing it in her direction, but Stone refused that idea because she doesn't believe that action fits Butler's disposition. Said the two-time Oscar winner, No, he is a sweetheart and a half. There's no way he wanted that bee in my face. He was trying to blow it behind me. From the Charles Manson cultist Tex in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood to the ready-to-rumble Benny in The Bikeriders to the sadistic Feyd-Rautha in Dune: Part II, Austin Butler has a history of playing dark and shady characters on the big screen at this point in his career – but Emma Stone's thoughts suggest that his performances don't represent his personality. He play be able to play dark and evil well, but he isn't the kind of guy who would intentionally try and get someone stung by an insect. Doubling down, Diego Luna comedically suggested that Austin Butler not only tried to blow the bee in Emma Stone's direction, but that he even brought it with him to the carpet. Not only did Stone refute that idea, but she even went as far as to suggest that there was someone else present far more likely to unleash that kind of nefarious plot: Pedro Pascal. Said Stone, You think he brought the bee?... I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro. He probably unleashed that bee. Pedro Pascal got a lot of nice attention from seeming to help protect Emma Stone from the bee... but could it all have been a setup for a taste of internet glory?!?! Conspiracy theorists: perhaps you should look into this. If you haven't seen the video for yourself, you can check it out in the Instagram post down below: On a more serious note, audiences will soon get to see Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal and Austin Butler on the big screen together in Eddington – part of a terrific ensemble cast that also includes Joaquin Phoenix, Deirdre O'Connell, and Luke Grimes. The movie, the third feature from the director of Hereditary, Midsommar and Beau Is Afraid, is set during the summer of 2020 and focuses on a small town in New Mexico where the local sheriff (Phoenix) decides that he is going to run against the mayor (Pascal) in an upcoming election. You'll be able to catch it in theaters this July – and stay tuned here on CinemaBlend for our interviews with Ari Aster and the cast. In the meantime, as the warm weather continues, be sure to look out for buzzing bees. Solve the daily Crossword

Emma Stone breaks down her viral moment with Pedro Pascal and that bee
Remember that viral Cannes footage of Eddington stars Emma Stone, Pedro Pascal, and Austin Butler contending with a bee on the red carpet? Well, in the Jimmy Kimmel Live clip above, guest host Diego Luna tries to get to the bottom of the story, even going so far as to suggest that Butler may have brought the bee himself, given that it appears from one angle that he's blowing the insect directly at Stone's face. "I almost guarantee you, if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro," responds Stone. "He probably brought the bee, he probably unleashed that bee." What follows is a quick discussion about how Pascal is absolutely everywhere at the moment, which prompts Stone to give the following, jokily reluctant appraisal. "He's talented, he's gorgeous, he's nice, he's funny," she says. "F*** him."

First Look Featurette for Ari Aster and Joaquin Phoenix's Pandemic Thriller EDDINGTON — GeekTyrant
A24 has released the a first look featurette for director Ari Aster's new film Eddington , which offers a behind the scenes look at the film, which is set during the COVID pandemic. A moment in time that I'm in no rush to revisit. The video features interviews with the cast and crew as they offer details on the story and explain what exactly this movie is going to give us. The movie is set in May of 2020 and it's described as a modern Western and the brief logline reads: 'A standoff between a small-town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) and mayor (Pedro Pascal) sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.' The new trailer pulls takes us back five years, when six-foot-enforced social distancing was a thing, and there were protests sparked by the death of George Floyd and there were tons of online conspiracy theorists. The film seems to focus on how the Covid-19 pandemic broke the minds of all kinds of people in a small town community. Phoenix and Pascal are joined by Austin Butler, Emma Stone, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell, Micheal Ward, Amélie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr. and William Belleau. This is Aster's fourth feature film, following Hereditary , Midsommar and Beau Is Afraid , the last of which Phoenix also starred in. When talking about working with Phoenix, Aster said: 'Having now worked with him, I understand why he is so reluctant to jump onto anything — because he really puts all of himself into whatever he's doing. The way that he challenges the material — not in a gratuitous way or in a way that's a pain in the ass. 'The question usually amounts to 'Is there anything we haven't considered here?' I realized that it's something that I was really wanting from an actor, and now I can't imagine making a film without him.' Eddington is set to open in competition at Cannes. It will be released in the US on July 18.
