The drama ensued when 15 overs were left in the day and both Jadeja and Sundar were batting in their 80s. India had garnered a decent lead, and only one outcome seemed in sight. Fox Cricket took a swipe with the headline that read 'Spirit… of what? How pompous England exposed Bazball's great double standard.' The article slammed England's moral posturing: 'England bang on about the Laws of the Game, as written by the MCC at Lord's. But when opposition teams follow those laws to England's disadvantage? Time to awaken the 'Spirit' again. Give it a prod. Shake some sense into them. Play fair, old boy!' Brisbane Times delivered a critical piece titled 'Spare us the whinging, England. The only thing embarrassing about Old Trafford was your tantrum.' The article pointed out the irony of England, who claim to be the guardians of Test cricket, prioritising results over entertainment. The Herald Sun's editorial harshly criticised England's behaviour, labelling it 'unsportsmanlike' for their reaction to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar's match-saving efforts. Code Sports criticised England, saying they were experiencing an 'identity crisis' ahead of the Ashes tour, and mocked their reaction to Jadeja and Sundar prioritising their centuries over a handshake. The Project announces shock 'return' in new format after being axed

The Project may have aired its final episode last week, but the Channel 10 current affairs program is continuing to live online. For the past few days, the show's Instagram account has been posting both Australian and international news headlines to its audience of 400,000 followers. After receiving some confused comments from people questioning whether The Project was returning following its recent cancellation, the account shared a statement on Thursday evening to clarify the situation. They confirmed that while the show is no longer on air, the social team will continue to post about the news. The post also received plenty of comments from its famous followers, including Colin Fassnidge, Matty 'J' Johnson, and Julie Goodwin. 'Love it!' Julia Morris, Dannii Minogue and Georgia Love have also shown their support for the show's 'rebrand', with host Sarah Harris commenting, 'Here for it'. Interestingly, Social Blade statistics show that The Project's Instagram account has gained 12,000 followers since the announcement last month that the show had been cancelled. This comes shortly after it was announced that The Project presenter Georgie Tunny would be joining the network's brand-new current affairs program, 10 News+. Channel 10 announced in a statement on Thursday that Georgie will bring her passion for sport, news, and storytelling to the program, covering the biggest stories and events in Australia and around the world.
