'We're just so honored to be a part of this amazing event. It does raise awareness for domestic violence,' said Meghan Baker, outreach coordinator for SafeNet of Erie. 'We offer our services 10% free, confidential and we support our community.' 'I think there's two pieces to it. So, we're encouraging more people to come out, it's fun, it's not a real competitive race, I think it's more about coming out, having fu,n but a lot of people come out to support our charity, which is SafeNet,' said Janina Lee, co-director of the Tutu Race. SafeNet will be hosting their next event, a garden party, on June 27. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
