UK's Used-Car Demand Boom Spells Bad News for Auto Trader Shares
Auto Trader Group Plc shares slumped on a surprising trigger for the vehicle marketplace's cautious earnings outlook: buoyant used car demand.
'Cars are selling like hotcakes, reducing the need for retailers to buy advertising slots from Auto Trader,' said Charlie Huggins at investment services firm Wealth Club following the Manchester, England-based company's full-year results.
