The US-Canadian Road Safety Gap Is Getting Wider
Automobile crash deaths are far more common in the US than in Canada — and the divide is widening.
That is the striking conclusion of a new study produced through a collaboration between the US Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) and the Canadian Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF).
