Attorney General Campbell joins other states in lawsuit challenging Department of Education mental health funding cuts

Man arrested for alleged assault, car theft at Reading gas station
At 6:33 p.m. on Saturday, Reading police received a 911 call for a stolen motor vehicle at the Shell gas station on 110 Main St., according to police. Advertisement The victim, a 49-year-old Reading man, was pumping gas on the passenger side of his black 2022 Range Rover Sport when a man pulled into the gas station, then allegedly abandoned that car and jumped into the driver's seat of the Range Rover, according to Reading police. The victim held onto the mirror of his SUV and was dragged for about 20 feet by the thief who allegedly 'struck and partially ran over' him, police said. The victim was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, according to police, who didn't have details about his condition or the extent of his injuries as of Sunday evening. The thief left behind a blue Chevrolet Malibu, which had previously been reported stolen in Maine, according to police.
