Air France to operate year-round Cork to Paris service
Air France has confirmed that it will operate its Cork to Paris Charles de Gaulle service on a year-round basis from October 2025.
The French flag-carrier said it will provide a direct service between Cork Airport and its major hub up to four times a week during the winter months.
Air France has operated to and from Cork Airport since 2018, providing a seasonal daily service to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
Tara Finn, Head of Aviation Business Development and Communications at Cork Airport, said that Air France is one of the airport's valued airline partners and the announcement of a year-round Cork-Paris Charles de Gaulle service is simply tremendous news.
"With a year-round connection to Europe's third-busiest airport, it significantly improves the long-haul, onward connectivity for our customers across the South of Ireland," she added.
Meanwhile, Cork Airport said today it is expecting 68,500 passengers this June Bank Holiday weekend, a 20% increase on the same time last year.
The busiest day of the coming weekend will be Sunday, June 1, the airport has predicted.
This weekend sees a new airline at Cork Airport as SunExpress start their new service to İzmir in Turkey.
The first week of June also marks the resumption of four Ryanair summer routes from Cork - to Carcassonne, La Rochelle, Rhodes and Zadar. All four services will operate twice weekly for the summer and into the early autumn.
Cork Airport has experienced sustained growth so far this year, with passenger traffic up 14% on the same time last year.
