Expect a cool, soggy Memorial Day weekend
(WBRE/WYOU) — The wet weather pattern lingers into the Memorial Day weekend.
Friday and Saturday will feature plenty of clouds, drizzle, and off-and-on scattered showers. Temperatures remain well below average with highs in the upper 50s, the average high for Avoca Airport is 74 degrees.
Sunday will have more clouds than sun with a shower possible. Highs in the mid-60s.
Monday looks to be the 'driest' of the three-day weekend. While a stray shower can't be completely ruled out, most of the day is dry with clouds and some sunshine. Highs around 70.
Despite the constant rainy pattern, at least we are out of the drought from Fall 2024!
