Pilgrims from Qatar thank wise leadership, Hajj mission for safe pilgrimage

Qatar's pilgrims have successfully performed Hajj rituals for the current year 1446 AH, under the close supervision and monitoring of the Qatari Hajj Mission and in coordination with the approved Hajj campaigns. In a statement, Qatar's Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs said the best conditions were provided for the Hajj pilgrimage to be performed with comfort and peace of mind, thanks to the capabilities provided by the state and the directives of the wise leadership. Pilgrims and Hajj campaign owners hailed the distinguished services provided by the Qatari mission, including good preparation, excellent organization, and high-quality equipment, particularly in the holy sites, at the Arafat Camp, its facilities and services, as well as Mina and Muzdalifah, witnessed significant developments. The positive feedback from pilgrims and Hajj pilgrims was the outcome of the constructive cooperation and ongoing coordination between officials of the Hajj and Umrah Department at the Awqaf Ministry, the Qatari Hajj Mission, and Hajj pilgrims. This has resulted in the provision of the highest quality services to the country's pilgrims, helping them perform their rituals with ease and in the correct manner. In this context, a number of pilgrims and campaign representatives expressed their deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the wise leadership for the comprehensive support and continuous care provided to the country's pilgrims. This was reflected in the high-quality services and meticulous organization since the pilgrims' departure from Hamad International Airport until the completion of the Hajj rituals and their return home. Pilgrims praised the pioneering role of the Qatari Hajj Mission, headed by Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs HE Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim. The mission led this year's Hajj operations with high efficiency and a team spirit, with clear directives to harness all energies to serve pilgrims, in cooperation with the advisory committee and all supporting service and technical units, as well as the intensive fieldwork of the seventeen approved campaigns. Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, who also heads the committee for following up on Royal initiatives, delivered the aid to this year's beneficiaries during a ceremony held at King Hussein Bin Talal Mosque. This royal initiative, which has benefited over 630 imams and preachers since its inception in 2003, is a testament to His Majesty's appreciation for this vital group of citizens and their noble role in serving Islam, according to a Royal Court Statement. It also reaffirms their mission of spreading Islam's teachings, promoting its tolerant image, and reinforcing its moderate principles. Issawi emphasised the King's deep commitment to supporting imams and preachers, enabling them to fulfill their duties in serving the houses of Allah and guiding society toward positive, virtuous behavior, while protecting youth from extremist ideologies. He also highlighted the importance of imams' and preachers' roles in promoting moderation and balance, fostering a sense of community, and combating extremism and misinformation. Their religious and societal guidance, he noted, plays a crucial role in building a united, informed society.
