Aya Samaha to Star in TV Series "Zoza"

Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Aya Samaha has signed on to star in an action-comedy series titled "Zoza". Principal photography is set to begin soon. Samaha is currently busy filming the horror TV series "Zorouf Ghamda", in which she stars opposite Amir Karara. The drama hails from director Muhammad Bakir and marks Karara's first time presenting the horror genre and also features Sedky Sakhr, Aya Samaha, Nabil Eissa, and more. Samaha made her last appearance on the small screen in the social-comedy TV series " El Captain ". The cast also stars Sawsan Badr, Aya Samaha, Ahmed Abd El Wahab, Omar Shawky, Samy Maghawry, and more. Moataz El Tony directs the series from a script by Amr El Daly, who penned the screenplay based on a story by Ayman Al-Shayeb. K Media production company is the studio behind the show. "El Captain" consisted of 15 episodes and screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon. Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture" and received more onscreen time in the 2016 mystery TV series "Grand Hotel". In 2020, she starred in Netflix's series "Paranormal", based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's supernatural novel "Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa". "6 Ayam" Sets Streaming Date

Yara Sameh Egyptian stars Aya Samaha and Ahmed Malek's film "6 Ayam" ('6 Days') will make its streaming debut on Yango Play on Friday, March 28. The pic hails from director Karim Shaaban, in his full-length feature film debut. Shaaban directs the pic from a script by Wael Hamdy. ‎Sea Cinema Productions‎ is the studio behind the film. The official logline reads: "Fate brought them back together. Can they rewrite their ending." The film follows Youssef and Alia meet again by chance years after a forced separation during high school. With each on a different life path. Their reunion stirs up memories and raises new possibilities, blending themes of love, friendship, and life's unexpected turns. As they navigate who they've become, the story reflects on whether feelings endure or evolve as we grow and mature. "6 Ayam" hit Cinemas in Egypt on January 15 and in the Arab World on January 16. Esaad Younis to Present Radio Series "El Set Faouzia" in Ramadan

Yara Sameh Veteran Egyptian actress and TV presenter Esaad Younis has signed on to present the radio series "El Set Faouzia". The series also stars Mohamed Radwan and is set to broadcast on the "9090" Radio Station during the holy month of Ramadan. Younis is also participating in the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon with season 3 of Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama's TV series "Kamal Al Adeed", titled "Kamal Al Adeed ++". Hussein Fahmy, Injy El Mokkaddem, Mariam El Khosht, and Ahmed Abd El Wahab are also attached to star in the upcoming season. Two fan-beloved characters, Aya Samaha's Shahd and Gihan El Shamashergy's Inji, will not be returning to the series for its third season. The pair parted ways with the drama due to being busy with other projects. Season two of "Kamal Al Adeed," titled " Kamal Al Adeed Plus One" premiered last Ramadan and featured the return of previous cast members such as Younis, Aya Samaha, Ahmed Kamal, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Samar Allam, Amr Gamal, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more. Khaled Al-Halafawi directed the series from a screenplay by Yousry Taher and Rana Abu Al-Rish. Season 2 of the series consisted of 15 depicting the beloved couple, Ahmad and Layla, welcoming a new child and the chaos they face as handle life shenanigans.
