
"Kamal Al Adeed" Season 3 Unveils Official Title and Poster
The official title and poster for season 3 of Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama's TV series "Kamal Al Adeed" has been unveiled.
The sophomore season will double up on its original title and will simply be called "Kamal Al Adeed ++".
Hussein Fahmy, Injy El Mokkaddem, Mariam El Khosht, and Ahmed Abd El Wahab are also attached to star in the upcoming season.
Two fan-beloved characters, Aya Samaha's Shahd and Gihan El Shamashergy's Inji, will not be returning to the series for its third season. The actresses parted ways with the drama due to being busy with other projects.
Season 3 of "Kamal Al Adeed" is slated to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.

Season two of "Kamal Al Adeed," titled "Kamal Al Adeed Plus One" premiered last Ramadan and featured the return of previous cast members such as Esaad Younis, Aya Samaha, Ahmed Kamal, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Samar Allam, Amr Gamal, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more.
Khaled Al-Halafawi directed the series from a screenplay by Yousry Taher and Rana Abu Al-Rish.
Season 2 of the series consisted of 15 depicting the beloved couple, Ahmad and Layla, welcoming a new child and the and chaos they face as handle life shenanigans.

Egyptian Short Blackout Joins Official Lineup at Prestigious Palm Springs Festival
The Egyptian short film Blackout has been officially selected to compete at the 37th edition of the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The film will participate in the 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' section, contending for top honors among more than 300 short films representing over 100 countries. This comes in coincidence with the release of the film's official trailer. Held annually in Palm Springs, California, the Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the world's most prestigious platforms for short films. The seven-day event is an Academy Award, BAFTA, and Goya-qualifying festival, showcasing outstanding short films from approximately 60 countries each year. Blackout competed in the official competition of the 55th Tampere Film Festival in Finland where it received a wide acclaim. Tampere Film Festival is one of Europe's oldest and largest short film festivals, serving as a qualifier for the Academy Awards (Oscars), BAFTA, and the European Film Academy. Blackout features a stellar ensemble cast, including Gihan El Shamashergy, Sedky Sakhr, Malek Emad, Yara Goubran, Naglaa Younis, Shaimaa Farouk, and Youssef Drees. The film is written and directed by Ahmed Moustafa ElZogbhy and produced by Hind Metwalli, with co-producers Mohamed Hefzy, Safei ElDin Mahmoud, Baho Bakhsh, Aly El Araby, Ahmed Amer, Sherif Fathy, Ibrahim ElNaggary, and Moustafa El Kashef. The film takes place at dawn on the eve of Eid, in a residential building where a family faces a sudden health crisis as their grandfather falls gravely ill. The male members of the family leave urgently to find a doctor but do not return, leaving the women and their children behind in a state of anxiety and anticipation, clinging to the hope of a miracle. As tensions rise, the women are startled by the unexpected arrival of a young woman, a tenant in the same building, accompanied by a mysterious man. This encounter sparks a series of intense psychological reactions among the women and their children, who begin projecting their suppressed fears and anxieties onto the young woman and her companion. This dramatic twist unveils deeper complexities in their relationships and inner struggles, capturing the essence of psychological projection in a gripping narrative.
