Archana Puran Singh, Parmeet Sethi travelled by business class, made sons fly economy: ‘We made a rule, they had to earn it'

Archana Puran Singh, her husband Parmeet Sethi and their sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamann have found a new career as family vloggers and in the latest episode of their YouTube vlog, the family shared snippets from their trip in Switzerland. Archana and Parmeet established themselves as popular actors in the 1990s and have been doing fairly well for themselves in all these years but, the parents made a rule that their kids won't be traveling business class with them until they can afford to buy their own tickets. This trip to Switzerland marked the first time that their sons traveled in business class. In the video, Ayushmaan revealed that it was his and Aaryamann's first trip in business class. 'Guys, me and Aaryamann are traveling in business class for the first time. So basically, our parents had a rule that they will never give us a business class ticket. They said, 'You have to earn it',' he shared. To this, Archana immediately interrupted and said, 'And now, you have earned it'. Parmeet also congratulated his sons and said, 'Well done boys.' In a conversation with Rashmi Uchil for her book Raising Stars: The Challenges and Joys of Being A Bollywood Parent, Soni spoke about an incident when she could not buy three business class tickets when she was traveling with her daughters, Alia and Shaheen, to Dubai. 'Once, we were travelling to Dubai and could not afford three business-class tickets. I told my children, 'I will travel first class, and you guys travel economy.' They made a face. When I went to check on them, I saw the lady in the seat right in front of them had reclined her seat, and these children had hardly any space in front of them. I told my children, 'Why don't you ask her to straighten her seat? Are you guys okay?' They were miffed and retorted, 'Why are you asking us how we are doing? We will not tell her anything.' The lady in front of them was a senior citizen and they felt bad telling her to straighten her seat. It wasn't a big deal at all,' she said.

Watch: On " Chutti Ka Din", Archana Puran Singh Enjoys Homemade Mango Sticky Rice

Archana Puran Singh's YouTube vlogs are always full of food and fun. On Friday, the actress-comedian dropped another video about her ' chutti ka din. ' And yes, it had a foodie twist. In the vlog, Archana's son Ayushmaan Sethi is seen making mango sticky rice. He sets up his kitchen studio right in front of a glass door overlooking a beautiful garden. To start with, Ayushmaan takes one cup of coconut milk, pours it into a pan and lights the stove. Then, he adds two tablespoons of sugar and lets the milk simmer until it thickens. After that, Ayushmaan adds one cup of boiled Japanese sushi rice to the milk. As it all comes together, Archana hilariously calls it ' coconut flavour wali khee r.' Once the milk dries up and the rice turns gooey, Ayushmaan transfers the sticky mixture into a bowl. Next comes the sauce. Ayushmaan Sethi pours half a cup of coconut milk into a pan, adds 2–3 tablespoons of sugar, and one teaspoon of corn flour (mixed with a little water). He cooks it until it reaches the perfect consistency and then turns off the flame. Time for plating! Ayushmaan puts the sticky rice on one side of the plate and lays out long mango slices on the other. That is when he realises – oops – he forgot to add salt to the sauce. He fixes the mistake by sprinkling some on top. Then, he drizzles the sauce over the rice. Think it ends there? Nope! Ayushmaan adds a final touch – he garnishes the dish with fresh coconut malai and some toasted moong daal. In the end, we see the whole family – Archana Puran Singh, her husband Parmeet Sethi, their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, Archana's mother, and Parmeet's father – all sitting together and enjoying the mango sticky rice. The perfect end to a sweet day! Take a look at the video below:

Ssudeep Sahir to exit Parineetii ahead of 20-year time leap

Ssudeep Sahir Ssudeep Sahir , who became a part of Parineetii in March, is all set to bid farewell to the show. His track is nearing its conclusion as the series prepares for a significant 20-year leap. While other cast changes are yet to be officially confirmed, Ssudeep's exit has been finalised. A source associated with the show informed us, 'Yes, Ssudeep's track is ending, and he will wrap up his shoot soon. His portrayal of Prithvi, a sharp and shrewd businessman, was well received by the audience and added a strong layer of intrigue to the narrative. However, with the upcoming leap, we felt it was time to take a step forward and explore a new storyline that offers fresh dynamics.' Ssudeep remained unavailable for comment. In an earlier conversation with us, reflecting on his role, Ssudeep had shared, 'It feels great to be back with Parineetii, a show that has consistently captivated audiences with its gripping storytelling. What made this project particularly special for me was the opportunity to portray a grey-shaded character for the first time. Prithvi is unlike any role I've played before — he's unpredictable, layered, enigmatic, and carries an aura of command and mystery. As a businessman, he is strategic and calculated in his decisions, always playing his cards close to the chest. But beneath that sharp exterior lies a man deeply driven by vengeance. I was genuinely excited for the audience to experience the many twists and turns he brought to the show.' Parineetii features Anchal Sahu , Tanvi Dogra , and Ankur Verma in the lead roles. Ssudeep's entry into the show marked his return to the small screen after a three-year hiatus following his performance in Tera Yaar Hoon Main. He was particularly enthusiastic about joining Parineetii because it gave him the chance to break away from his string of positive roles and explore a more complex, grey-shaded character. Ssudeep began his acting journey in 2003 with Kyun Hota Hai Pyaarrr and has since been a part of several notable shows, including Ayushmaan, Jabb Love Hua, Santaan, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Shastri Sisters, and Woh Apna Sa.
