What Happened Today on Bold and the Beautiful May 28: Hope & Carter's Big Announcement
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for May 28 saw Hope and Carter excited for their future and Sheila reminding Luna of her very shady and dangerous past. Hope (Annika Noelle) woke up at Carter's (Lawrence Saint-Victor) loft and enjoyed her first morning as a freshly engaged woman. They were excited to spend the rest of their lives together. Hope couldn't wait to go to the office and spread the news. However, Carter was worried about how some people (ahem, Ridge & Steffy) would take the news. Hope eased those worries with a kiss and promised nothing…and no one…could knock them off this pink cloud. Meanwhile, over at the office, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) asked what her plans were for Hope. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wasn't sure what her role would be just yet…but did warn she wasn't about to reinstate her line. Brooke understood and was just happy the dust was settling and Hope was getting her life together again. Steffy then updated them that Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) is gone. She took flight to Paris and as much as Steffy wants her to come back, she doubted they'd see her again anytime soon. MORE: Find out what's coming up next on B&B! Later, Carter and Hope showed up at the office and were over the moon to make their big announcement. Hope jumped right into a speech about love and light before showing off her dreamy ring and telling the trio she and Carter were engaged. As you can imagine, Brooke was thrilled. Steffy and Ridge slapped some smiles on their faces and joined in the celebration but it was clear they weren't exactly elated for the couple. Carter and Hope understood their apprehension and promised their union would never be a threat to the company…or the Forresters ever again. All the while, Luna (Lisa Yamada) sent a flirty text to Will (Crew Morrow) before chatting with her grandmother. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) called her out on her antics and reminded her that Will is a very taken man. She needs to stay away from him…and stay away from Finn (Tanner Novlan), too. It was time for Luna to learn to take 'no' for an answer and respect it. Luna didn't love the lecture but Sheila was unrelenting about getting her granddaughter to lower her expectations. She even reminded her of her past crimes and how low she would go. Does she want to go down a dark path again? MORE: Is THIS happy couple headed for disaster? As for Will, he didn't even try to hide the fact Luna was texting him. He saw it come though and showed Electra (Laneya Grace) right away. He even told her about all the other times Luna has sent him lusty messages. Electra was furious but stopped Will from blocking the baddie. It was better to see what she was saying than being in the dark. With that, Will left for a meeting and Electra plotted her next move. Sheila ran off to grab some supplies and walked out mere seconds before Electra showed up to put Luna on notice. She told her to keep her hands, and her sexy messages, to herself, or else! Or else what, exactly? Luna wanted to know. Electra wasn't about to back down. She went toe to toe with the baddie and didn't even flinch when Luna started making threats of her own.

The Bold and the Beautiful preview week of May 26: proposals, threats and goodbyes, oh my!

Now that Memorial Day is behind us, it's time to focus on sweeps week and it looks like the B&B team saved the biggest drama for one of the biggest weeks in the TV calendar. Clifton has been giving the performance of a lifetime as he portrays Liam's slow decline as the result of a brain tumor and during the May 26 episode he implored Finn (Tanner Novlan) to help take care of his girls when the time comes. Liam is also hoping that Carter will be there to help, too. Little does Liam know, while he's giving a heartfelt soliloquy to Finn, Carter is on one knee, asking Hope to marry him. She didn't have an answer for him, so it's anyone's guess how this is going to turn out. Here's the first look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week: And here's even more of a look-ahead: The first look-ahead is the one that came at the end of the May 26 episode. In it, Liam hugs Beth and tells Finn that he doesn't know how he's going to say goodbye. Next we see Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) telling Hope and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that "she" is a monster and she needs to be kept away from her family. The "she" in question, of course, is Luna (Lisa Yamada), who, in the following scene, can be seen telling Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) that Steffy will never accept her, so "why not just eliminate that threat?" To her credit, Sheila shuts that down quickly, but it doesn't look like Luna is convinced. In the YouTube clip, Steffy and Finn share a moment together while Ridge tells the couple that Luna is one the hunt for Steffy. Finn looks upset. Next we see a different moment in the conversation between Luna and Sheila. Sheila tells Luna that Finn and Steffy have made a decision and she has to accept it, and Luna needs to "go." The clip ends as Luna is seen buying a gun and aiming it at a picture of Steffy. Interestingly, this is the first time we've seen Luna in her murderous element. We saw her before in flashbacks, but this time we're seeing the moment when she hatches a plan to kill someone who's standing in the way of getting what she wants. We have a feeling that things are about to take a very dark turn in the next week. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus. Who Will Slip and Tell Bill His Son Is Dying on Bold and the Beautiful?
Right now on Bold and the Beautiful, only a few know Liam is living on borrowed time, but the truth is starting to leak like a sieve. What began as a private moment between Liam, Steffy, and Grace has turned into a tangled web of whispered confessions and hallway run-ins. Despite efforts to keep things under wraps, the list of those in the know keeps growing…and so does the risk of someone slipping. The biggest surprise? Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) still doesn't know. That's right – Dollar Bill, the fiercely loyal, wildly emotional, and sometimes unpredictable patriarch, is completely in the dark. Hope (Annika Noelle) got the news from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and has already spilled to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), which was a risky move considering how close he is to so many Forresters. Taylor (Rebecca Budig) knows now, too and she's not great at keeping explosive secrets to herself. If Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) hears it next, you can bet it'll find its way into Bill's ear – intentionally or not. Then there's Bridget (Ashley Jones), who literally stumbled upon Liam and has to be bursting to talk to someone medical about what she knows. Could it be Finn (Tanner Novlan) who accidentally tips off Bill in a well-meaning conversation about family? Or what if Grace (Cassandra Creech), overwhelmed by the emotional weight, vents to someone in confidence who happens to know Bill? And let's not count out Steffy – her heart is in the right place, but she's already told too many people for this to stay contained. Maybe, just maybe, Liam will sit his father down and tell him the horrible news. He came close when they hugged it out at Il Giardino, but he simply could not bring himself to do it. No matter who says it, once Bill finds out, all bets are off. Will he rally around Liam, or will he rage against the people who kept him in the dark? What Happened Today on Bold and the Beautiful May 29: Hope's Joy Made Liam Cry
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for May 29 saw Liam thrilled by Hope's news, Brooke trying again, and Will horrifying by Electra's bravery. Electra (Laneya Grace) continued pushing Luna's (Lisa Yamada) buttons…and Luna continued pushing back. Electra got right in her face and told her to back off Will and keep away from her man. Luna, as expected, mocked Electra and warned her that men like Will Spencer will want more than an innocent flirtation. Thankfully, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) showed up before things went too far and outright told Luna to back off before she does something else she'll regret. At the same time, Will (Crew Morrow) was in the design room with his mom. He told Katie (Heather Tom) about all the drama with Lusty Luna. Katie was horrified to hear a killer has set her sights on Will…and that the situation is also putting Electra in danger. Will was very much worried about the same thing. He didn't want his girlfriend caught in the crossfire. All he could do was hope she steers clear of Luna – which, of course, she wasn't. Not at all. Will soon learned all about the confrontation when Electra got back to the office. He was horrified Electra got in the murderer's face but even more so when he heard Luna threatened her. At the same time, Sheila warned her granddaughter to clean up her act. Enough was enough. She even wondered if Luna was trying to ruin her second chance. She even advised Luna to get out of town. Across the hall, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) urged Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to help her plan a party for Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). When Ridge was reluctant, Brooke was not pleased. Ridge admitted he was wary of their romance, especially after what went down with the coup. Brooke didn't like that and urged Ridge to let that all go and put it behind them all. It was time to focus on the future. Speaking of the future, Brooke wanted to talk about theirs, too. It doesn't matter how many times Ridge says no, she'll always fight for their love. As far as she's concerned, they are truly meant-to-be and nothing – and no one – can change that. Won't be give her another chance? They owe it to themselves, she said. Well, that's not Ridge's take. He's happy right where he is, with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). He did hold her hand, though because this is Ridge and he can never truly help himself. MORE: Who will slip up to Dollar Bill? Meanwhile, Hope was at the cliff house breaking the good news to Liam. He's getting his dying wish – not only has she moved on and is back with Carter but they're getting married! Liam was stunned – and thrilled when she showed off her huge rock. Hope thanked him for pushing her to chase love. He's always known what's best for her. This led them to once again reminisce about all their good days – and talk about Liam working to make everyone's lives right before his ends far too early. Liam wanted to ensure all was well (or as well as it can be) before he leaves this world.
