'Ba***ds of Bollywood' first look out: Aryan Khan promises love with a twist of vaar; WATCH
Aryan Khan has finally unveiled the much-anticipated first look of his debut web series, 'Ba***ds of Bollywood,' and it is everything fans expected—stylish, satirical, and soaked in cinema. The teaser opens with the iconic violin tune from 'Mohabbatein.' This instantly reminds viewers of Shah Rukh Khan 's romantic legacy. But just as the nostalgia sets in, Aryan flips the narrative. Unlike his father, who made audiences swoon with tales of pyaar, Aryan speaks of vaar—an attack, a cheeky jab at the industry he is also celebrating. His voiceover, eerily reminiscent of SRK's, guides viewers through a montage that mixes dreamy romance with chaotic action, giving a taste of what's to come. Another comment read, "Aryan's acting, dialogue delivery, and screen presence are brilliant!" A third one commented, "Aryan has the potential to continue his father's legacy!! SRK's son." All about B***ds of Bollywood —Love, action, and satire The series stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in leading roles, whose chemistry is showcased in the teaser with textbook Bollywood romance shots. Yet, just when the mood feels familiar, the screen bursts into high-octane sequences—fights, bloodied faces, and larger-than-life drama. Aryan's narration: 'Bollywood—jisse aapne saalon se pyaar bhi kiya aur vaar bhi kiya, main bhi wohi karunga. Bohot saara pyaar… aur thoda sa vaar.' (You have loved Bollywood and attacked it too. I'll do the same—a lot of love, with a little attack—showing a playful balance of affection and critique. This is what makes the project intriguing. A star-studded ensemble Aryan isn't going solo in this venture. Alongside Lakshya and Sahher, the series boasts a powerhouse ensemble including Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Gautami Kapoor, Vijayant Kohli, and Anya Singh . The glimpse suggests the series isn't just another glossy web drama but a stylized satire that holds up a mirror to Bollywood itself.
