The heat spell has also led to a rise in cases of dehydration among individuals who are exposed to sun for prolonged hours. Patients are also reporting symptoms such as dry mouth, reduced urine output, and extreme fatigue. Around 50 patients daily are seeking treatment for throat infections, primarily linked to the consumption of alternating hot and cold beverages, at Sadar . Dr. B. Those who are venturing out of their homes should wear loose-fitting, light-coloured cotton clothing and avoid direct sun exposure in the afternoon."
