Ab6iX to release 10th EP later this month
Ab6ix announced Friday that it is planning to return on Aug. 25 with its tenth EP, 'Upside Down.' The new album follows about ten months after the group's previous EP, 'Born Like This.' While putting together the new mini album, the four members held the 'BE:6IX' fan concert in Seoul in mid-June. For the two-day event, they rearranged their repertoire — which included 'Nvked' from the ninth EP — for a band format. Ab6ix debuted in 2019 with the EP 'B:Complete' and was initially made up of five members, including main vocalist Lee Dae-whi and main dancer Park Woo-jin. The two were finalists in the second season of 'Produce 101' and part of the resulting project band, Wanna One. In 2020, Lim Youngmin left the team after apologizing for driving under the influence.

AB6IX to host fan concert in Seoul next month
AB6IX will hold a fan concert in Seoul on June 14-15, said agency Brand New Music on Tuesday. The two-day event dubbed 'BE:6IX,' where the four band members will be playing live, comes about a year after the previous fan concert. The now six-year-old boy band debuted with 'B:Complete,' which earned it first place on a television music chart show just two weeks later with focus track 'Breathe.' Its latest album is its ninth EP from October last year, 'Born Like This.' Last month, Park Woojin dropped solo single 'Cool & Hot' and Lee Daehwi participated in a singles project where he sang 'Lovestruck.' Both were members of Wanna One, an 11-member boy band launched through the second season of 'Produce 101.'
