Warner Bros. drops first teaser for ‘One Battle After Another' starring Leonardo DiCaprio

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first teaser for One Battle After Another, the highly anticipated film from writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Sean Penn, the film is set to hit theaters on September 26, 2025. The teaser offers a glimpse into the film's action-packed world, showing characters engaged in intense shootouts. One striking scene features Taylor's character, visibly pregnant, firing a rifle while DiCaprio's character calmly watches with a drink in hand. The teaser then jumps ahead, revealing the child grown up and mirroring her mother's actions, firing a gun of her own. 'Just when you think you got a handle on things,' a voice narrates as DiCaprio, now older with a goatee, takes aim through a gun scope. While plot details remain scarce, One Battle After Another is described as a contemporary action drama and one of Anderson's most expensive films to date, with a reported budget ranging between $100 million and $140 million. The film reunites Anderson with composer Johnny Greenwood and features supporting performances from Benicio del Toro, Wood Harris, Shayna McHayle, and Chase Infiniti. Filming began in January 2024 under the working title BC Project and primarily took place in California and El Paso, Texas. Anderson shot the film on 35mm VistaVision cameras, staying true to his signature cinematic style. With a full trailer expected next week, anticipation is building for what could be Anderson's most ambitious project yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
