Let's play Connections, the NYT's clever word game that challenges you to group answers in various categories. It can be tough, so read on if you need Connections hints. I've also got daily Strands hints and answers and Quordle hints and answers articles if you need help for those too, while Marc's Wordle today page covers the original viral word game. Today's best Get Better At Wordle deals NYT Connections today (game #716) – the answers (Image credit: New York Times) The answers to today's Connections, game #716, are… YELLOW: ROUND FLAT THINGS COASTER, FRISBEE, PANCAKE, RECORD COASTER, FRISBEE, PANCAKE, RECORD GREEN: AIRPORT FEATURES CAROUSEL, FOOD COURT, GATE, LOUNGE CAROUSEL, FOOD COURT, GATE, LOUNGE BLUE: GUITAR PLAYING TECHNIQUES BEND, PICK, SLIDE, STRUM BEND, PICK, SLIDE, STRUM PURPLE: WHAT CHARACTERS WERE TRANSFORMED INTO IN 'BEAUTY AND THE BEAST' BEAST, CANDELABRA, CLOCK, TEACUP My rating: Moderate Moderate My score: 1 mistake You could argue that a FRISBEE isn't strictly flat, unlike the other three ROUND FLAT THINGS, but it's close enough and this yellow was an easy spot, before I had to do some thinking. My mistake came in putting together a group of fairground rides – SLIDE, CAROUSEL, TEACUP and BEAST. Of these, BEAST was the one that didn't feel right – so I began thinking of other things that it could mean and after dismissing Mr as the link landed on Beauty & The Beast and some of the other characters in the fairytale. STRUM, SLIDE and PICK both felt like they had something to do with guitars but I took a risk with BEND, having completely overlooked the much more obvious AIRPORT FEATURES. How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below. Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Monday, May 26, game #715) YELLOW: ITEMS IN A LINEN CLOSET PILLOWCASE, SHEET, TOWEL, WASHCLOTH PILLOWCASE, SHEET, TOWEL, WASHCLOTH GREEN: DIAMETRIC COUNTER, OPPOSITE, POLAR, REVERSE COUNTER, OPPOSITE, POLAR, REVERSE BLUE: LINGERIE GARTER, HOSE, SLIP, TEDDY GARTER, HOSE, SLIP, TEDDY PURPLE: CARD GAMES WITH FIRST LETTER CHANGED DIN, FRIDGE, GUMMY, JOKER NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different difficulty level: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite tough and purple usually very difficult. On the plus side, you don't technically need to solve the final one, as you'll be able to answer that one by a process of elimination. What's more, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little bit of breathing room. It's a little more involved than something like Wordle, however, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to trip you up with tricks. For instance, watch out for homophones and other word games that could disguise the answers. It's playable for free via the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile. READ SOURCE

K-pop Group HIGHLIGHT Announces Asia Tour; Malaysia Show Set For September

Last week, rumours began circulating that K-pop boy group HIGHLIGHT (하이라이트), formerly known as BEAST (비스트), would be holding a concert in Malaysia later this year. Speculation arose after GME International teased fans with an image of a flower encased in a lightbulb, set against a backdrop of metal chains — a clear nod to the group's official lightstick and their latest track, 'Chains'. Well, it appears that fans' guesses were correct as it has now been confirmed that the idols will be making their way to our shores this September. Here's what we know so far: HIGHLIGHT first rose to fame as BEAST, debuting in 2009 under Cube Entertainment. In 2016, members Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang and Son Dong-woon ended their contracts with the agency and announced their departure. However, much to fans' delight, the group rebranded as HIGHLIGHT the following year after signing with Around Us Entertainment. Since their re-debut, HIGHLIGHT have released several hit tracks, including 'It's Still Beautiful', 'Take Care', 'BODY', 'Switch On', and their latest single, 'Chains'. Earlier today (Monday, 19th May), the quartet officially announced that they'll be embarking on their [RIDE OR DIE] tour across Asia, and Malaysia is confirmed as one of the stops. Here are the details revealed so far: HIGHLIGHT LIVE 2025 [RIDE OR DIE] in Malaysia Date: 27th September 2025 (Saturday) 27th September 2025 (Saturday) Venue: TBA TBA Organiser: GME International Other confirmed stops on the tour so far include Manila, Taipei, Tokyo, and Bangkok. It's also worth noting that additional dates may still be announced, meaning there's a chance the group could perform in other neighbouring countries such as Singapore or Indonesia. While we wait for more updates, how about we enjoy HIGHLIGHT's latest single 'Chains'? Source: Instagram

K-pop Group HIGHLIGHT To Hold Concert In Malaysia Later This Year?

Concert announcements, especially those involving K-pop artists, are always exciting, but teasing fans about who might be coming next can have everyone on the edge of their seats, eagerly guessing. Several brands have teased fans with hints about special guests making, or having already made, surprise appearances in Kuala Lumpur. Now, it seems another K-pop group is set to make its way to our shores very soon. GME International, known for organising various events and concerts featuring international artists, recently hinted at another exciting announcement. In a post on their Instagram Story, the company suggested they may be bringing a popular K-pop boy group to perform in concert later this year. Here's what we know so far: Earlier today (Wednesday, 14th May), GME International shared an Instagram Story teasing fans about the next artist set to perform in Malaysia. The image featured a flower encased in a lightbulb, with metal chains in the background, with the words 'Who's Next?' displayed at the top. Fans were invited to submit their guesses via the 'Stay Tuned' sticker. The Instagram Story has since gone viral on Twitter, with K-pop fans expressing their excitement over a potential concert announcement. While nothing has been officially confirmed, many fans speculate that the upcoming K-pop act could be HIGHLIGHT (하이라이트),also known as BEAST (비스트). This theory stems from two key details in the teaser image: the boy group's official lightstick is shaped like a lightbulb, and their latest song is titled 'Chains'. As seen in the screenshots above, many fans are convinced that the mystery act is HIGHLIGHT, based on the clues provided. Others have urged the concert organiser to make an official announcement soon, eager to start saving for tickets. If the rumours turn out to be true, this would mark the group's third visit to Malaysia, their first being in 2011, and the last in 2013, when they were still active as BEAST. This would also be their first performance in the country as HIGHLIGHT and since parting ways with Cube Entertainment. Sources: Instagram, Twitter

GreenPower Announces Delivery of Three BEAST School Buses to Its Dealer for Grant County under EPA Clean School Bus Program

West Virginia Deployments Now Total 22 GreenPower School Buses SOUTH CHARLESTON, May 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GreenPower Motor Company Inc. (NASDAQ: GP) (TSXV: GPV) ("GreenPower"), a leading manufacturer and distributor of purpose-built, all-electric, zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles serving the cargo and delivery market, shuttle and transit space and school bus sector, today announced that three Type D all-electric, purpose-built, zero-emission BEAST school buses have been delivered to its West Virginia dealer for the Grant County School District under Round 2 funding of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean School Bus Program (CSBP). "GreenPower continues to manufacture and deliver its all-electric, purpose-built school bus products to its dealer in West Virginia and dealers across the nation for school districts in a timely manner despite the current uncertainties of public policy, tariffs and funding," said Brendan Riley, President of GreenPower. "This week's delivery to our West Virginia dealer is for the second school district in West Virginia under the Clean School Bus Program since the contract with EPA was signed just four months ago and the federal funding became available in mid-March." Delivery of the West Virginia-manufactured school buses under the EPA grant was paused for a few weeks as part of the freeze on spending implemented by the Trump Administration as the new EPA team evaluated program spending. After the freeze was lifted, GreenPower's first delivery to its dealer in West Virginia under the CSBP was for Kanawha County and today's announcement represents the second set of buses under the award to Grant County. Calhoun County's school buses funded under the CSBP will be the next delivery for GreenPower to its dealer. To date, GreenPower has delivered 22 of its all-electric, purpose-built, zero-emission school buses in West Virginia for deployment in school districts across the Mountain State, including 16 BEASTS and six Nano BEASTs. The deployments represent approximately one-half of the orders placed for West Virginia school districts that have installed charging infrastructure and are prepared to accept the buses. As the leading purpose-built American manufacturer of EV school buses, GreenPower is the only all-electric OEM that manufactures both a Class 4 Type A school bus and a Class 8 Type D school bus. The BEAST is a purpose-built 40-foot Type D all-electric, zero-emission school bus with seating for up to 90 students. Designed from the ground up as an EV, it is a fully integrated structure that features a strong and corrosion resistant aluminum body made from extruded aluminum, manufactured by Constellium, seamlessly mated to a high strength steel Truss (bus) chassis. The complete flat floor design allows for adjustable track seating with no wheel wells in the passenger compartment, and the high floor keeps students out of the impact zone. Combined port charging is standard with Level 2 rates up to 19.2 kW and DC Fast Charging rates up to 85 kW, allowing for full charging in less than three hours. HIGHLIGHT comes back as BEAST after nine years

17 Apr - Nine years after they had to change their name from BEAST to HIGHLIGHT, the K-pop group announced that they are going to be using their original name for their new music. After reaching an agreement with their previous agency Cube Entertainment to use the BEAST trademark again last year, HIGHLIGHT announced that their new track "Endless Ending" will be released under the original name. Sharing the good news on social media on 16 April, the group posted the image of their new mini album and wrote, "HIGHLIGHT THE 6th MINI ALBUM [From Real to Surreal]. 2025. 04. 28. 18:00. BEAST X HIGHLIGHT - Endless Ending PRE-RELEASE! 2025. 04. 16. 18:00." "Endless Ending" is a song that compares a past relationship to a movie ending, and it melts the regret over the ending of a breakup and the longing for past memories. It is noted that the group, consisting of Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang, and Son Dong-woon, made their debut in 2009 as a six-member group that include Jang Hyun-seung and Jong Hyun-jung. In 2016, the group changed labels from Cube to Around Us Entertainment and had to change their name to Highlight due to trademark issue. (Photo Source: WowKorea, Kpopping)
