IGNOU December TEE 2025 Exams: Check tentative date sheet
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the tentative date sheet for the December 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE) for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes.
The December 2025 TEE will be conducted between December 1, 2025, and January 8, 2026, in two sessions daily —10 am to 1 pm (morning shift) and 2 pm to 5 pm (afternoon shift). The university has clarified that this is only a tentative date sheet, and the portal for online submission of examination forms will be opened in due course.
Students are required to ensure that their course registrations are valid, assignments have been submitted within deadlines, and the minimum duration of study for each course has been completed before appearing for the exams.
The notification, available on the official website, highlights that no requests for changes in exam dates will be entertained if the clashes occur in specific cases such as: courses falling within the same group, backlog courses from previous years, courses belonging to different programmes, or different specialisations within the MP programme.
For December 2025, several programmes such as BDP, BCA, BSW, CLIS, CBS, and CBCS-based degree programmes will have objective-type question papers following the OMR pattern. Meanwhile, certain courses like BNS041 and BNS042 will follow a descriptive pattern. Additionally, learners of CRD, PGDRD, and MARD are allowed to write their exams in Bengali as well.
Students are advised to carefully check the tentative date sheet and report any discrepancies by August 25, 2025.
The date sheet also provides detailed groupings of courses under ODL, CBCS, and FYUP schemes. Under these groupings, all courses in a group will be examined on the same date and time. Students can choose subjects across groups but only one from each.
