The legendary daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has returned to television after years, and in just two weeks since its revival, the makers have wasted no time in turning up the drama. Instead of taking the slow-burn route, the new season kicked off with a gripping storyline from the very first episode, pulling viewers right back into the world of the Virani family. Now, in a twist that promises to shake Shanti Niketan to its core, actress Barkha Bisht is all set to make her grand entry, and her character is expected to bring a storm into Tulsi's (Smriti Irani) seemingly settled life. However, she drew criticism when she starred in films like Bad Newwz and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Triptii Dimri's Acting Coach Says She Chose Wrong Films After Animal: 'Didn't Work Well'
Last Updated: Saurabh Sachdeva, however, praised Triptii for her acting prowess and work ethic. Triptii Dimri's success was at an all-time high when she starred in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. She was among the most sought-after young actresses in Bollywood. However, she drew criticism when she starred in films like Bad Newwz and Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. In a recent chat with the Hindustan Times, Saurabh Sachdeva, who has not only co-starred with Triptii but also has been her acting coach, opened up about where she went wrong. Saurabh Sachdeva said, 'I think with Triptii, her choices didn't work well. But she is wonderful. She looks good on camera, works hard, is vulnerable and sensitive, and is nice to work with. There are no tantrums, from what I saw in the few films I have done with her." 'All that never changed with her. What happened was that her choices were not right. That is also something an actor needs to learn. You have to make those choices, the ones that are difficult to make," he added. When asked if he feels bad when his students are trolled, he said, 'Ache ache players bhi zero par out hote hain (The best of players get out on zero), but you know that they will come back." He also said, 'A great actor like Irrfan Khan may also not always deliver the performance we expect of him. But there is a performer behind that. Sometimes, the choice of the subject is not right, and sometimes films don't work. What matters is that people recognise that the performer is good." 'I taught so many students. Not all of them are there; only some are. It was in their character to succeed. The stakes were so high for them that they had to succeed. I just helped them along the way," he said in the same chat. Saurabh recently worked with Triptii in Dhadak 2. Set against a campus backdrop, the narrative follows Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), a student admitted through reservation policies, and Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), a progressive woman from a privileged background, who fall in love across entrenched caste divides. Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, the film is billed as a 'spiritual sequel" to Dhadak (2018), while being a faithful Hindi adaptation of the Tamil classic Pariyerum Perumal (2018). Exclusive! Makers considering Ammy Virk to replace Diljit Dosanjh in Border 2?
Bad Newwz actor-singer Ammy Virk is being considered by the makers of Border 2 as a possible replacement for Diljit Dosanjh . This development comes after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) publicly appealed to the producers to drop Diljit from the film. FWICE raised objections over Diljit's involvement in Sardarji 3 opposite Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, calling it 'unacceptable' in light of current India-Pakistan relations. The organization urged the makers of Border 2—a patriotic war film—to replace the actor. For the unversed, Diljit started filming the war film last week in Pune with the other cast members Sunny Deol and Ahan Shetty. A source close to the production shares, "Diljit only shot for 3-4 scenes. Makers were contemplating replacing the actor, as right now they can easily reshoot those scenes. The makers are directly handling this matter and Ammy's name cropped in the discussion." With the controversy intensifying, sources say Ammy Virk has emerged as a frontrunner. Despite repeated attempts Nidhi Dutta, the producer of the movie didn't respond to our queries till the time we went to the press. Ammy and Diljit's representatives also chose to not comment. Diljit Dosanjh landed himself in serious trouble with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) as his upcoming Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. FWICE wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and key union ministers, demanding strict action — including revocation of passports and even cancellation of Indian citizenship of Diljit and the film's team. In a strongly worded letter, FWICE President BN Tiwari, urged the Prime Minister of India, the Home Minister, the Minister of External Affairs, and the Minister of Information & Broadcasting to take strict and immediate action against the key people involved in the film. The letter read, "Diljit Dosanjh, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Director Amar Hundal, the public personalities enjoying the privileges of Indian citizenship, have committed an unpardonable act by hiring Pakistani actress Ms. Hania Aamir in their upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3'. This decision is not a mere creative choice -- it is a wilful affront to the sovereignty, dignity, and security of India. Their actions clearly reveal where their loyalties lie — not with India, not with Indian cinema, and certainly not with the people of this country'
