The post read: "With a lot of excitement around the filming of the new Spider-Man movie in the city centre, we wanted to share this post from our friends at No1seems2care to make people and families aware of an incident that happened on Tuesday afternoon with a young girl who was with her friends." Filming kicked off in and around Bothwell Street at the beginning of the month as much of the city centre has been transformed to resemble New York City. It was originally due to run until August 15 but the schedule has been extended until August 26, after moviemakers secured permission from Glasgow City Council. Shooting for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to be released next summer, has generated excitement amongst locals and visitors, with thousands flocking to the city to catch a glimpse of Hollywood star Tom Holland in the iconic suit. So far, sensational stunts have involved tanks, car chases with NYPD motors in pursuit and controlled explosions.
