Bahrain's digital future is getting a strong push from its young innovators, with the upcoming Bahrain Digital Content Awards putting the spotlight on local creativity, innovation, and content excellence.
Set to take place on Sunday, the event is being held under the patronage of His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council.
Organised by WorkSmart in strategic partnership with the World Summit Awards (WSA), the ceremony reflects Bahrain's growing ambitions in the digital economy.
This year's edition introduces a dedicated youth category aimed at nurturing fresh talent and recognising emerging creators across digital platforms.

The award will honour achievements across a broad range of strategic themes, including digital government, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and education. Cultural, economic, and technological innovation are also key areas of recognition.
The award's organisers have described this as a key step toward building national capacity in line with Bahrain's Vision 2030 goals.
Chairman of the Bahrain Digital Content Award, Ahmed Al-Hujairi, said the initiative aims to promote creativity and excellence in digital development while ensuring alignment with national priorities.
'The continued staging of the Bahrain Digital Content Award reflects a strong and ongoing commitment to fostering creativity and driving innovation within the digital content sector, which stands as a key catalyst for economic growth and sustainable development,' Al-Hujairi said.
The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) has issued an open invitation to startups, corporates, academic institutions, and government entities to attend the event and explore networking opportunities.
