Bahria White, Dow Club in girls event final
The Kashmir Day Rangers Cup Basketball Tournament has entered its final stage, with both girls' semi-finals and one boys' semi-final concluding on Tuesday night. In the girls' event, Bahria White defeated Bahria Green 11-9, while Dow Club secured a victory over Aram Bagh 17-14 to claim a place in the final. Outstanding performances came from Raheema, Fiza, Jaweria, Neelam, Umeema, Fatima, Driesha, Tayyiba, and Aira. In the boys' event, Karachi District South secured a spot in the final by defeating Karachi District East 66-45. Key performances from the winning team included Haji Muhammad Zaid Ashraf, who scored 22 points with five three-pointers, Nabeel Ahmed with 20 points (four three-pointers), and Haris Shahid with 15 points. For the runner-up team, Hamza Khan scored 16 points, Abdul Rehman added 11 points, and Shahmeer Khan contributed 10 points. Before the matches, Assistant Commissioner Malir, Khalid Maroof was introduced to the players. Also present on the occasion were Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Tariq Hussain and other distinguished guests. Earlier, on Monday in the final league match of the boys' category, Karachi South Green secured a thrilling victory against Karachi West, winning 73-64 in a high-scoring game. Key performances from the winning team included Hassan Ali, who scored 25 points with five three-pointers, Daniyal Khan Marwat with 20 points, and Muhammad Abdullah Khan with 16 points. For the runner-up team, Razin Khan delivered an outstanding 30 points with six three-pointers, while Yusha scored 15 points, and Hadi Hassan added 14 points. In the girls' quarter-finals, Aram Bagh defeated KMA College White 8-6 in the third quarter-final, while Bahria Club Green overcame KMA College Green 6-3 in the fourth quarter-final. Outstanding performances were delivered by Tayyiba, Aiza, Jaweria, Kanwal, Fiza, and Mahwish.

Karachi South White, Dow Club triumph
Four matches were decided in the Kashmir Day Rangers Cup Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament, being played at the International Mohammad Nasir courts at Aram Bagh on Sunday. In the boys' event, Karachi South White defeated Karachi Central by 54-46 points. For the winning team, Nabeel Ahmed scored 16 points, Ahsan Iqbal 15, and Zaid Ashraf 10, while for the runner-up team, Usman Khawaja scored 18 points, Zardat Khan 12, and Shoaib Ahmed 10. In the second match, Karachi East defeated Karachi West 35-28. For the winning team, Abdullah Zia scored 10 points, while Abdullah Rahman and Niyar Zaman scored 8 points each. From the runner-up team, Razeen scored 10 points, while Yusha and Hamam scored 6 points each. The girls' event has entered the semi-final stage. In the first quarter-final, Dow Club defeated Karachi Colts 6-2. In the second quarter-final, Bahria White secured victory over Government Degree Girls College Lines Area with a score of 8-5, earning both Dow Club and Bahria White a place in the semi-finals. Outstanding performances were put in by Fatima, Amina, Areesha, Afghanan, Dua Batool, Fiza Khan, Raheema, and Manahil Irfan. The matches were officiated by referees and technical officials Zahid Malik, Amir Sharif, Muhammad Ashraf, Zaeema Khatoon, Muhammad Naeem, and Zulfiqar Abbas Khan. The tournament, organized by the Karachi Basketball Association with the support of Engineering Solution Company and Alliance of Aram Bagh Market Association, is witnessing thrilling competitions in both the girls' and boys' categories. At the start of the day's matches, the players were introduced to MCB Vice President Muhammad Haider Khan.
