Ridhima Pandit returns to TV after five years with Ufff...Yeh Love Hai Mushkil
Ridhima Pandit
Ridhima Pandit, who became a household name as Rajni in Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant, is set to make her television comeback after almost five years. The actress, last seen in Haiwaan: The Monster, will soon join the cast of Ufff.
..Yeh Love Hai Mushkil, which stars Shabir Ahluwalia and
Ashi Singh
in lead roles.
What drew Ridhima back were two key factors — the show is being produced by Sonali and Amir Jaffar, the makers of Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant, and the intriguing arc of her character.
While Ridhima was unavailable for comment, a source close to the show revealed, 'The new character will be a blast from the past. She is Shabir's ex-wife, returning to wreak havoc in the lead couple's lives.
She's an out-and-out negative character — mean and unpredictable. Just when you begin to sympathise with her, she will do something to shock you and make you despise her again. When the makers envisioned this role, they immediately thought of Ridhima.
Given her bond with them, she agreed to come on board without hesitation.'
This marks one of the most anticipated returns to TV, alongside Mouni Roy, who will soon be seen in a cameo in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.

Speaking about the show, Shabir in a previous interview told us, 'I'd call comedy one of the toughest genres, yet it feels natural to me. Yug lives in a delightfully mad world—two feuding families, a love story, and situations that create humour rather than forced gags.' While speaking about success and the pressure that comes with expectations, he told us, 'Of course, I want my show to work. But I don't take pressure, because it's not in my hands.
I worry about the variables I can control — like whether I'm supposed to gel my hair or how to deliver a dialogue. I focus on what's in my control and stay hopeful about what isn't.'
