Are Leslie And Gary Still Together After ‘Bachelor in Paradise'?
Bachelor in Paradise said goodbye to a fan-favorite Golden couple during Season 10, Episode 6. So the question on everyone's minds is: 'Are Leslie and Gary still together?' Ever since 66-year-old Gary Levingston arrived on the beach and asked 66-year-old Leslie Fhima on a date, the two Golden contestants had a palpable connection — a bond so strong that it wasn't even broken after Gary and Nancy Hulkower went on a date together. After Bachelor in Paradise introduced new twists and relationship tests in Episode 6, Gary and Leslie proved they were one of the show's strongest couples. But a careless, last-minute move from Gary put him and Leslie at risk of elimination. And in the end, they were sent home by fellow contestants Bailey and Jeremy. As the two left Paradise together, Gary told viewers, 'Her and I will continue to move forward with our journey, just in a new way.' So are Gary and Leslie still together after Bachelor in Paradise? Leslie went on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast to give hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt an update on her and Gary's relationship status, chat about her Paradise experience, and more. Are Leslie And Gary Still Together After ? While the podcast is packed with Day 1 to Day 11 Bachelor in Paradise insights from Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, here's what she had to say about her and Gary's relationship and unexpected elimination. First things first: For those wondering, Leslie did try to warn Gary not to bet so many chips during the final round of the relationship test, which ultimately led to their elimination. 'Like a typical man, he did not listen to me,' Leslie said. Leslie confirmed that she left Paradise 'broken hearted' because of the premature departure, but clarified that she still has a good friend in Gary. 'We talk all the time. We were at the premiere together watching the show in LA. Gary is, I can honestly say right now, one of my best friends. I'll call him if I have a problem. He kind of talks me off the ledge a little bit, and we are always there for each other. We have each other's back.' So for now, it sounds like the two are just friends. But Leslie knows that friendship is a crucial component in romantic relationships, so if the two tried to take their relationship to the next level outside of Paradise, perhaps sparks could fly again. 'I don't know, because we haven't spent time together and we live in two separate cities. I don't know what it could be. All I know is that for me, a big thing with any relationship, a romantic one for sure, is I want to be friends first, because I want to be with my best friend growing older, and so that is a huge thing for me,' Leslie explained. 'I don't know what it's going to be, but I know that we have special places in our hearts for each other. And that's all I can say right now.' Though Leslie was admittedly disappointed in Gary's reckless bet during Episode 6's game, she said she has no hard feelings towards her pal and knows that everyone makes mistakes. 'I think he just — I don't know. He beat himself up enough after that. I think I said 'I told you so' once, but I certainly wasn't going to do it more than that, because I could see he was visibly shaken and upset, and I'm sure he was thinking, 'Why did I do that? Why did I do that?'' Leslie continued. 'I have a family member that went through treatment for gambling addiction, and if [Gary's] not a good gambler, that's OK with me. It could be worse.' As for her final thoughts on Paradise Season 10, Leslie said, 'We left the show together. I did leave broken hearted. I didn't embarrass my children or my grandchildren. I didn't do any body shots, and so I feel like I left the show in a good space for me.' Tune in next week to see who's next to leave the beach, and who's one step closer to winning half a million dollars!
