2025 Bajaj Dominar 250, Dominar 400 launched: Prices, what's different
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 iterations of its popular sports tourers , the Dominar 400 and Dominar 250, with new upgrades. As for the pricing, the duo will cost Rs 2.38 lakh for the Dominar 400 and while the Dominar 250 will set you back by Rs 1.92 lakh. Both prices, ex-showroom. Here's a look at what's changed. 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250, Dominar 400: What's new One of the major highlights for this upgrade includes the introduction of ride-by-wire technology on the Dominar 400. This enables four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road. The Dominar 250, meanwhile, makes use of a mechanical throttle setup but offers four selectable ABS modes . Besides that, handlebar positioning has been reworked for a relaxed riding triangle. Alongside that, the models feature luggage carriers and a GPS device mount fitted from the factory. Apart from these changes, the powertrain and other hardware remains unchanged. The Dominar 400 continues to draw power from a 373.3 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that puts out 39 hp and 35 Nm. It's paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper clutch. The Dominar 250, too, carries over its 248.8 cc powerplant that delivers 26.6 hp and 23.5Nm, mated to the same 6-speed unit. The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 remains unchanged in terms of design but gets new electronic aids. The bike now comes equipped with ride-by-wire via an electronic throttle body, which brings four ride modes - Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. Meanwhile, the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 comes with four ABS ride modes on a Mechanical Throttle Body (MTB). This is the same technology we saw on the updated Bajaj Pulsar 250 range recently. The 2025 Dominar range is not just an upgrade, it's a declaration: the road belongs to those who don't hold back." Power on both Dominars comes from the OBD-2B compliant engines. The Dominar 400 uses a 373 cc mill, while the Dominar 250 is equipped with a 249 cc motor 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 & Dominar 250: Feature Enhancements Furthermore, both the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 get a bonded digital instrument console with an integrated speedo flap for maximum visibility and weather resistance. The handlebar design has been revised for better ergonomics with an aim to make it more comfortable on long rides. Other upgrades include new switchgear for better control of the new systems on the bikes.
