Goals galore as accurate Avondale hit Ballinacor for six

WHAT AN explosive opening 20 minutes we had in this D'Arcy Sand Intermediate Football Championship local derby between Avondale and Ballinacor, played at Echelon Park, Aughrim, on Sunday afternoon last.
At that stage the Dales led by 3-4 to 3-1 as we witnessed an absolute goalfest. The half-time score stood at 3-7 to 3-2 and Avondale went on to add a further 3-10 in the second half while Ballinacor scored a further 0-9.
