Undeterred by showers, devotees throng Shiv temples
Kanpur: Rains could not deter Lord Shiv devotees as a large number of people reached at Lord Shiv temples of the city on the first day of holy Shrawan month on Friday. The devotees offered bhog of 11,000 laddoos at Anandeshwar temple.

According to the management committee of Anandeshwar Temple, after 'mangla aarti' in the morning, devotees thronged temple to offer prayers.
A similar scene was also witnessed at other famous temples of the city such as Ban Khandeshwar Temple, Jageshwar temple, Siddheshwar temple and Siddhanath temple.
