'P77' starring Barbie Forteza is coming to cinemas this July
"P77," the horror movie starring Barbie Forteza, is coming to Philippine cinemas this month! On social media, GMA Pictures shared some behind the scenes snaps from the movie. Among the photos was a scene where Barbie can be seen cleaning a bloody toilet. "Some nightmares look a lot like home. Uuwi ka pa ba kung ang bahay mo ay bangungot para sa 'yo?" the caption read. According to the post, "P77" will be screened in July. No specific date has been revealed so far. "P77," which stands for Penthouse 77, will also star "Firefly" child actor Euwenn Mikaell and veteran actress Gina Pareño. The film is directed by Derick Cabrido, the filmmaker behind the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry "Mallari," and produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. Barbie is also set to star in the upcoming series "Beauty Empire" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez and South Korean actor Choi Bo Min. Barbie Forteza on love life status: 'Multo pa lang 'yung nagpaparamdam'
Barbie Forteza is not closing her doors to love. In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Barbie was asked about her love life now that she is booked and busy with her career. The Kapuso Primetime Princess seems to be prioritizing her work at the moment, as she recently became an ambassador of Save the Children Philippines along with on-screen partner David Licauco. "Let's save the children first. Uy, ano ba yan?" she quipped. But she added: "Hindi naman ako strict about it. Kung may magpaparamdam, wala namang problema. Pero sa ngayon, multo pa lang 'yung nagpaparamdam kasi sa akin." Barbie was in a relationship with Jak Roberto for seven years before she announced their breakup in January. The Sparkle star is currently working on her upcoming series, "Beauty Empire," where she will star alongside Kyline Alcantara and Ruffa Gutierrez. Barbie Forteza joins Cristopher Diwata in 'What hafen, Vella?' trend
What hafen, Barbie Forteza? The Kapuso Primetime Princess is the latest celebrity to hop on to Cristopher Diwata's viral "What hafen, Vella?" lines! On TikTok, Cristopher shared a short clip of himself with the Kapuso actress doing his iconic lines. "Iba ka talaga miss [Barbie Forteza]," he wrote. It looks like Barbie isn't the only one who can't get over this trend. In a separate video, Cristopher shared a clip of Barbie's "Beauty Empire" co-star Kyline Alcantara, joining in—adding a special twist by singing a few lines from Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years," famously featured on the Twilight soundtrack, which originally inspired the iconic lines. This isn't the first time Cristopher doubled-down on the "Twilight" references. He previously sang the song with Ben&Ben, who is just one of the many celebrities riding on his trend, among them Abi Marquez a.k.a Lumpia Queen, Michael Sager, Anjo Petierra, and SB19. He's landed several endorsements as well, which he said helps him to pay off debts and support his family. "Kahit maliit man 'yan, tatanggapin ko 'yan. Iga-grab ko 'yan kahit maliit. Sana sa mga nag-aalala sa akin, huwag n'yong intindihin 'yun at mas maganda 'yung meron kaysa sa wala," Cristopher told GMA News Online in an interview. Cristopher is also going to appear on "Mga Batang Riles."
